This is my second moc. It's a picture of a man trying as hard as he can to grab the next handhold.
About this creation

I've almost got it...

Here is the guy with his safety harness next to him.

Do you have a brother named Max?
In Christ, I do. In real life, no. My brother is Nathan Oh, and you can view his page here.

Very original! I agree the multi-colord pieces adds a lot to the detail and mimics some versions of actual rock climbing walls :-) Oh, forgot something.. You should consider adding a 'difficult' section to one side of the top if you have any grey inverted roof bricks.
What a great idea!!! I will make a Moc soon WITH a harder section! Thanks for the suggestion!!!

Matt, I was wondering how you made that harness? I've been looking all over the place for a lego harness to do a similar moc. I'd really appreciate it if you'd get back to me, great build btw! Looks just like the rock wall at my gym down to the belay device.
Thanks for commenting Bricker Rich! For the harness, I cut electric tape into a thin strip, folded it so that the sticky part is stuck to itself, but left a small sticky area at one end. Wrap it around a minifigure and stick that little sticky part to the other side. Take a smaller electric tape strip fold it so that it leaves just a small sticky parts at EACH end. Push the minifigure's legs into opposite directions so that it looks like it's running. tape that smaller electric tape strip to the one around the minifigure.... and there you have it.
Enjoy! |

Great Job Matt!!!!! I love the rock work on the wall. I'm impressed with how tall you made, as to the fact that I personally know how many legos you have :P Anyway, great job and you already know what I think about the minifig's legs. Great build and I'm looking forward to seeing more creations from you.

Cool! Way to go Matthew. I might suggest taking pics on a white background, but otherwise they are really good photos, I like the fig and neat idea. I like the little silver bell at the top of the wall. Nice work! You gotta be active, man! You are a good builder! |
