why not us a XL motor for the drive and a really small wheel at the front for better steering

I love how you managed to make this work. It's really cool to see the thing lean into corners like that! However, I only give this a 4 because the visual appeal could be improved. Just dress it up a bit more and you're golden.

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you all like it.
Quoting Jonathan Petersen very cool! great recreation, where is the battery box though? great shaping, i'd love to see how you made the front wheel turn as well as the whole thing tilt, how many motors used?
There is a rechargeable battery box (set 8878) under the visible M motor. That M motor turns the turntable that connects both halves of the chassis, which produces the tilting. Further gearing from the turntable passes under the battery box, and leads to the gearing just behind the front wheels, which turns the front wheel. A second M motor is just above the rear axle and provides the propulsion.

Neat! I also built a technic carver car last week with a bigger size. Yours seems more agile and complete than mine. Good job! And for the idea of a carver car: Great minds think alike! :P
