MO round 5 The Fisherman vs Giovanni Seynhaeve - Intrusion
Category: Evil Scientist vs Evil Scientist
About this creation
My entry for round 5 of the MocOlympics 2011
My versatile opponent is Giovanni Seynhaeve. His battlezone can be seen here

The category a lot of people wanted to build in:
Evil Scientist vs. Evil Scientist: Two evil scientists fighting each other, but not with just chalk on a board, but with crazy weapons they just invented.

Took me a while to sort out my ideas of the topic. But once I have started building most of the bricks fell in place quickly. Enjoy.

Dr. Eve Ludicrous was close on creating a super human being.

Even if there where some setbacks along the way...

Little did she know then, that here adversary Dr. Eugene Ville already invented a means to steal here invention.

With his Mole-Machine he recklessly dug through the ground.

As he had never gotten near her laboratory on any other way.

This makes the complete scene.

The scientists: Dr.E.Ville vs Dr.Eve L.

Glad to be a part of such an illustrious circle.
Good luck to all of you.

I knew I was way out of my league here. Final 8? Who would've thought that? I do not believe I will repeat this in the next MOs to come. Thanks to the judges for letting me play with the big guys. I'll be back, that's for sure.

Mr. Fisherman, I think you created a great scene, with wonderful details. Your opponent's build just has a little more umph to it, and earned my vote Thank you for your take on the category. ~Dave

As much as I like clean, studless MOCs with well-balanced proportions (like yours), my vote goes to your opponent this time. Still an excellent build.

Pure evil! little small though, but size doesn't matter because it's such a good and well made creation. I like the lab and the vehicle, but the detail of the yellow frog made it for me, good luck!

Haha! This is both a wonderful and funny build. I love your use of those textured bricks, and the story is delightfully full of supervillain cliches, which serve only to inject more fun into this. Nice work and good luck!

Well done, a good, solid build. Hopefully the judges won't dock you for size, because using those 1x2 crinkle-ish bricks was a good touch, and I know those aren't the most common of bricks.

Good work. I think the build is great. I'm not ready to prematurely call a winner like some people (Adam), but I think one thing that might have helped is a little back-and-forth in the story- actual "sparring".
