Station 7 is one of two original firehouses in Lego Twp left in existence. It has gone through a renovation, but still retained its footprint.
About this creation
Daytime image of Station 7. Notice the roof over the bays...its nothing more than long plates leaning against each other.
A view of the firehouse in the evening.
The firehouse got a makeover a few years ago. The living area was expanded, height wise, a new entrance and a new roof over the bays. In addition, there was an addition put on the side of the firehouse, expanding the locker area in the bays.
This firehouse is the only firehouse in Lego Twp with drive through bays.
View of the back of the firehouse, with the rear bays open, as the apparatus floor was being refinished.
The firehouse has replaced the rear bay trans-clear rollers with trans-light blue garage rollers.
I remember looking at this when i first found your work some years ago, it really amazed me at the time to discover that not many american fire stations don't have drive through bays, and much as i love the makeover that plate roof brings back some nostalgic memories.
