Runabout version 4 with interior
About this creation
After doing the minifig scale Shuttlecraft, I thought I'd try my hand at a Runabout as well. So I started from scratch on a larger model and tried to incorporate an interior. I think this came out nicely. The nacelles are a complete rebuild and much more screen accurate. After I did those, it gave me an idea of the size of the rest of the ship. I focused on exterior angles and shapes. Once I had the design basically built, I hollowed out the interior to make room for equipment, control panels, and minifigs. The inside is smaller than I would've liked, but I crammed in as much as I could. The cockpit has a few panels and the transporter pad. The aft compartment has a couple comm panels and a table in the center. The center room I had to make up myself due to lack of photos. I believe on the show there were at least 2 rooms in the center. But I couldn't squeeze them in.

"Mind = boggled." Amazing, the exterior is perfect. Well, as perfect as Lego gets, anyway. I'd love instructions, and/or a real life version of this.

You are right that intrior is small BUT you canīt expect anything larger in THIS scale and I think, according to scale, interior is really well made.
