Weatherdirk: Airship Kitchenette
The cook for a merchant air vessel works late on a dark night. He prepares stew for the morning in his cramped, but tidy, kitchenette.
About this creation
Gaston sat in his stool. The nights were getting longer and colder. He could feel it in his bones. These days it was easier to stay by the stove and work, than to lie down and sleep. Though the captain never seemed to grow old of crossing the skies, Gaston was worn out.

Yes, a few solid weeks on the land would do him good.

"The warning bell"

"I guess my shore leave can wait."

This is the first part in a storyline I have been working on for the last couple months involving the crew of the airship, Weatherdirk. You can read the next segment, The Captain's Cabin, here.

Quoting Ru Corder The glasses on the cook hat are great! As is the whole vig.
Glad you liked it. The goggles on the chef hat were the inspiration for the fig which, in turn, inspired the vig.
