This build took more than 95% of my remaining green, lime and brown bricks and the wheels came from a PAB order. (i have yet to dismantle any of my builds). All that is left is stuff i can't use like window shudders, specifically designed bricks, etc..
Perhaps when i get my hands on some more green bricks i'll look into re-building it with a better camouflage scheme.
The inspiration for the build came from viewing some photos and videos of the SS-12 Scaleboard and the SS-27 Sickle B (Topol-M) mobile launchers. The build is not made as a scale-model of the SS-27 but it does draw most of its ideas from it.
A close-up of the drivers cabin. Notice the Big Red Button!
Ready to launch!
Launch sequence complete.
The missile alone.
The real SS-27 Sickle B is mounted with one ICBM with a range of about 10.000 km carrying a single nuclear warhead with a yield of about 0.8 MT. I figured my own missile would be similar.
My vehicle doesn't really have a name of its own, maybe Mobile ICBM Launch Pad-03 (MILP-03 Giant).
Man, those are a lot of tires. The source of inspiration is quite obvious, again.
But ICBM's suck ... they have no honour. Swords and axes should be the weapons of choice for any true Nord (or Orc ) ;)

Quoting Builder Allan Thanks man :-) You're absolutely right, and i am just about to re-build it to a version 7 - i might post updates soon!
A V7, I know what that's like, The MOC at the bottom of my Homepage went through many drastic changes before the final product, believe it or not it started with an idea for a scuba pack for a MiniFig. Let me know if and when you post updates. Oh, also, I finally posted something of my own, I figured group members would like to see some of my work for a change, so check it out if you want.

wow really nice, i like it, but, you have to find a more catchy name for it hehe, what about: the big BOOM
Bi-ig bada-boom Hehe! I know, i don't do well when inventing names for my stuff :-) I've actually been considering the name 'the scorcher' for a little while? I mean, that nuke does scorch the earth where it lands :-D It's actually been rebuilt to a version 6 now a days. And it is awaiting another rebuild once i get hold of a load of green and brown bricks!

Wow! Impressive vehicle, Dude! I love it!
And thanks for your kind comment on Titan! =)
Thanks to you too man :-) Your titan might be a bit smaller but you have paid a lot of attention to detail in your build - i need to coordinate the color scheme on this one somewhat to even come close to something like yours!
