About this creation

It has been a looooong time since I've uploaded here to MOC pages, mainly because I'm active on flickr. However, since there has been some interest in my old "Corner Cafe" train station, I thought I'd upload my most recently built station...

Back in October, my wife got me all of the LEGO Winter Village sets as an anniversary gift. Since I have the Holiday Train set as well, I was inspired to build an appropriately styled train station to fit in with the rest of the Winter Village sets... and if LEGO were to redo the 7777 train idea book, I'd have to think they'd include some ideas along the Winter Village theme.

(note: I did create a custom sticker for the "WINTER VILLAGE" depot sign)

Peter - thanks for the enthusiasm. Been away traveling, so sorry for not responding sooner. Being that I built the model, I belive Cuusoo prefers that I was the one to upload it (I also didn't see it uploaded there, so perhaps that's what they want). Wow, all you got to do is upload this set to Lego Cussoo. You will get my support anyway and I sure like to have one of these!! Maybe instead of the post car you can build a trainwagon for the post. Further than this it's a great set. Peter.

This looks just like the official winter sets from LEGO! I really like the outside details and the chandelier inside the station. Great job!
