Quoting Matt Mason I can so easily see the inspiration behind this. The front, the engines; this is no doubt based on the UNSC Destroyer from Halo! Very well done!
O.o Halo has a destroyer??? I thought the game only shows frigates and cruisers?? I aint really a big Halo fan :p

Quoting General FrieLegos This ship looks like it could take a real pounding! I like it. But I can't help but wonder, when you say "bubble shielding" is that like an actual shield? or is it more like bubble wrap under the ship's regular armor to absorb hits?
Hmm...Good question. I could write an essay on that:P The "bubble shielding", or NanoliteCryxtal shielding, is basically a deployable crystalline shield used as a defence against energy weapon (Plasma, laser, etc) fire, either to reflect, to disperse or to absorb the energy, and kinetic based weapon fire, to disperse the shockwave. It is made up of Nanomites that when deployed, form a "crystal" layer around the armour of the specified part (or parts) of the ship (where the enemy weapon fire is going to hit). These Nanomites are directed and controlled by an onboard AI and linked to the ship's Ship Locater, Fire Tracking (SLFT) computer. When the ship is in combat, the Nanomites are constantly moving from place to place deflacting enemy fire. Due to the high research and production cost of Nano technology, these Nanomites are only deployed when the ship is in battle or travelling through WarpSpace (Also know as a wormhole/slipspace/hyperspace and a bunch of other things) The ship would be totally invunerable to all incoming energy weapon fire until the ship runs out of juice (which is highly unlikely). The Nanomites are also able to discharge stored energy in the form of small laser beams or ElectroMagnetic pulses, used to counter enemy missiles and small boarding craft who have managed to evade the Point Defence AutoCannons. Any more questions? :)

Awesome! The design is great and nice use of minifig hands! It looks like my latest starfighter, same colours and general shape, great minds think alike!
