Dragonne Kriíscazro (loosely translated as Slayer of Hope) Battle Station; 100+ Category Piece Top
The Slayer of Hope is a 150 piece behemoth built for one specific purpose, to annihilate humanity (and take home the trophy for best heavy top back to the Dragonne home world)!
About this creation

The base is armed with three massive laser cannons mounted to each arm that can vaporize entire G.A.I.A fleets or anything in size up to a small moon.

On top of that a ring of 18 laser batteries and 10 additional pulse cannons provide secondary layers of human frying goodness.

Word has it that the smell of cooked human to the Dragonne is as delectable to them as fried bacon is to us, yum!

To top it off, each arm possesses a hangar capable of launching hordes of fighters to swat away those pesky human fighters like the flies they are.

What hope do the forces of G.A.I.A possibly have with this harbinger of devastation bearing down on them? Only time will tell.

The last thing it doomed victims ever gets to see, muw ha ha!

Spinning beams of death.

Times two.

Builderís note 1: This oneís for you Parrington. The funny thing is that as I was building this monstrosity, its shape instantly got me to thinking it would be a great nemesis for G.A.I.A even before I saw your name on the roster. Cheers my friend!

Builderís note 2: As with the other tops, I experimented with different surfaces and lighting effects to see what would provide the best representations to these tops. One thing I discovered is that with my camera is that if I snap a picture with the flash bulb activated while itís spinning the picture comes out like it isnít moving at all. So thatís why all the spinning pictures are done in the dim light you see.

Quoting Marc "Edge" R.unde Cool design, dude! Love the death beam function, gives a really nice spinning effect! ~Cheers
Thanks but sadly not only did I not win, I couldn't even garnish one stinkin' vote for any of my tops! Needless to say the outcome left me quite deflated to put it mildly!

Very nicely made Heavy Top. The Style is very well executed, both in terms of the Structuring and Colouring. The Addition of the Lighting was a very nice choice on your part, it helps solidify the bond between the Style and the Premise you set out to achieve. Nice work on this. Oh, and while I'm here, if you don't mind, could you send me an Email at humpfreerates@gmail.com?

Impressive, the light brick is a brilliant touch! Also good idea with having it be a top and a starship at the same time, quite cool.

Quoting ccy 8086 As a battle station, it's really amazing! But I don't have any ideal why you let it spin like that...sorry about my poor English....
Simple answer, it's actually a top for Yuri Fassio's 2011 Spinning Top Contest. The spinning pics are mandatory to prove it's a functional top.

Quoting Rabid Goldfish Now that's not a moon, that's a battlestation. Fantastic design, and neat how you are able to make it spin. Been a while since I've seen you around, how's life? ^Blub^
Life's had its ups and downs which was part of the reason why I had to go away for a while. To be honest I'm still not into the full swing of things so if I spend any real time with the bricks it's to mostly organize and store them. There's something I want to build but it's going to be a bit longer before I'm ready to tackle it since it's completely different that what I usually do. In the meantime quickies like these will have to hold me over for now. By the way thanks for asking. It's nice to see that at least a few dedicated friends still give a rats patoot about what I'm doing!

Quoting Parrington Levens Hahaha, wicked evil spinning top of doom mate! Yes, we are in serious trouble at GAIA if the intel on these badboys is true! Haha, I'm goping to have to build something to counter this threat, cheers buddy!
I have no doubt that your GAIA inspired countermeasures will be a sight to behold but I know that you know only so well that once you black you never go back he, he!

Quoting Quad ????? Cool! About how long does it spin?
I didn't time it but I say it averages about 10-15 seconds on a decent spin.

Quoting Christopher Bulliner "So thatís why all the spinning pictures are done in the dim light you see." you could have edited the image so that we did nit need to know that. BTW great spinning annihilator thingy. Like the lights and red and black color scheme, makes it look sinister.
Long story short, I don't have Photoshop and have no idea how to edit photos like you mentioned above. I suppose you have a point though and simply not mentioned it in the first place.
