Juggernaut
The next evolution in utterly impractical war machines of the future.
About this creation

Finished way back in July of 2010, has been mostly sitting and gathering dust since. Occasionally turned on and used to freak out the cat or the dog.

When building something with Power Functions, you have to make sure you can easily get to the battery box.

Like a car in need of a wheel alignment, Juggernaut will drift slightly to the left if driven in a straight line over a flat surface. This is due to the motors (one medium motor powers each wheel) not spinning at exactly the same rate. After building the thing I found a site with an illustration of a dual differential (helpfully shown in Lego as well) used to eliminate this problem. Maybe next time.

Yes, you do get a video, of sorts. Of course as soon as the camera goes on, the dog ceases her attacks on it.

Great vehicle, looks like a lot of fun. It really makes me want to have a go at this whole power functions thing! :)

Thanks everyone.
Quoting Ape Fight It does look like it would be more effective upside down for ground clearance, but still a 5/5 : )
Yeah, I traded ground clearance for balance and stability. And so would you!
Quoting xonyon wierd reminds me of star wars halfire droids
Huh, imagine that...
Quoting Jay Rhum Do the shock absorbers have a real purpose or are they purely for aesthetic looking?
They do hold the top deck on, as it "floats" just slightly over the battery box, not connected to it in any way.

I would be careful of the dual differential system; It can reduce your power quite a bit. Here is a link to my moc on dual differentials that explains this in more detail http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/296248 Btw great build; the video makes me want to get BIG wheels like that!

Marvelous build! The chunky body covers up the power functions very well, but it also gives the vehicle an awesome tank look.

Great build, I love the power function and design! Do the shock absorbers have a real purpose or are they purely for aesthetic looking?
