Hero Factory: Ultimate Evo Battle Armor (Part 1)
A while back, I took a trip to america and found out they have lego stores. When I came back to australia, I decided to use some of the other hero factory and bionicle parts I had collected over the years to make a battle suit. I used some inspiration from the 'iron monger' from iron man. Unfortunately, you have to take off the helmet and weapon cover, but they have special storage areas in power up mode. Without the armour, evo is like a deluxe class transformer (in size), but with his armour, he towers over voyager classes. I wouldn't go as far as to say he's a leader class size, but he's still huge.
About this creation
As you can see, the armor makes a hue pile of bits and pieces next to evo when it's off.

To place the armor on him, you first need to take off the helmet.

The first section makes up the torso section.

At the back of evo, there should be a 3x1 hole section. I used one of the matoran clip-on pieces from the phantoka line to clip the armor on.

The next thing to do is bring around the chestplate.

It should clip together at the ball joints, forming a tight bond and covering up the original chestplate.

The next thing to do is bring down the headpiece. There should be an eye that comes down. I only gave it one eye to make it look like a camera.

There should be two sideparts (not sideburns) that should come together.

And for the last thing on the torso armor, bring down the swords. They can come out on the finished model.

The next piece forms the jetpack. The limb armor will also fit onto this.

It should just clip onto the back, just like the torso armor did.

The best thing to do is to bring the light-up guns forward, so that they create a canon-like effect.

You see the green cladding piece?

The helmet should fit right on top. This is one of the two storage places.

That's how it looks so far.

This piece forms the left arm. It has a few thornax/ball launchers.

It should just fit onto the ball joint in the side.

The peg you can see, fits onto the BOTTOM of the hand.

There are actually two guns. One of them flips onto the top.

It should look like this.

The next piece is the right arm. it also has a fire-thingy.

Like the other arm, it fits into the ball-joint.

The reason why the weapon cover was removed is because the peg fits in where it used to be.

It might be a bit difficult to see, but there's a black piece there. Why?

That's where the weapon cover fits on.

It should-oh, you know the drill. I don't need to repeat myself.

The final piece is the legs. They aren't separate, which may be odd.

When you push them back, you can see the two matoran-pegs. these clip onto the bottom of the feet.

The two cup-joints fit into the two ball-joints.

And finally, you bring the leg-armor around.

And that's just about it. You ay not be able to see just how tall he is...

...so here's a few size comparisons. You can see he towers over skyhammer...

...and megatron...

...who, just to say, isn't happy that he's not the most powerful.

The battle-blades-repaint-AKA-Kmart-exclusive-optimus-prime is shorter than him, but they'd still make a great team.

And that's about it. I may add instructions for him, but they won't be in LDD. In the next part, I'll show you his different weapons. Until then, happy building!

Quoting Chris Something No offense, but to me it looks like Evo got covered in glue, and then rolled around in a pile of colorful pieces.
Um, this is an old creation. Everyone has to start somewhere. I know how bad it looks, but that doesn't mean I have to delete it, right?

Quoting Lord Quakius ~ Too Colorful.but Pretty Cool nonetheless.
Yeah, I own a lot of pieces, but they're all differently coloured. It's a bit of a problem, but it's good to get some recognition on MOCpages.
