Mitgardian Watchtower
For the Historica Guild thingy on Eurobricks. Built high in the mountains of Mitgardia, this tower watches over a dangerous pass.
About this creation

This was a quick build, but I'm thoroughly happy with how it turned out.

This looks pretty cool for a quick build! The tower looks great in the landscape. The landscape could maybe use a little more detail. Greetz, Elio

Very nice! Love the overall design of the vignette! Your commander is also very cool, what is the thing he has on his shoulder, its great! I also recently joined Mitgard and this inspired me very well, thanks for that! I have added my character to my mocpage, could you go check it out if you have the time? Thanks, Jan EDIT: Is that thing I mentioned on the commanders shoulder a helmet visor? If so, thats pure genius! Nice

Wow, this is really nice! The use of SNOT for the stairs, but the studded snow gives a great textured feel! The raised levels of the build are also fantastic, far too often I build solely on a single plain, instead of several. The tower itself is quite good, small but not too small, greebled but not confusing, simple, yet elegant, great job!

Quoting Cammander Xave I like it but I couldn't help noticing the similarities between your tower and the one in this:http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/295718 Did you collaborate?
They're both for the Hisotrica guilds over on Eurobricks, where AP is actually my guild leader.

Nice! All-in-all an excellent creation! Perhaps if the stairs were twisted (spiralling) it would be better, but that would practically be a MOC in itself! Great work!

Quoting Deus Otiosus Kind of reminds me of that recent mage comic episode... You know wich one I'm thinking about, yes?
Yes I do, but since both towers were actually built for the same thing (Mitgardia in the Eurobrick guilds) there is likely to be a resemblance. AP is my guild leader actually.

Pretty nice work. The snow could stand to be smoother, and a little building at the base of the tower wouldn't be amiss, but it's pretty good, all in all.
