Hey everyone. Thought you would like to see my Work in Progress. Mustly have been busy with trying new things on GIMP. And my latest installment my Comic Book that Im trying to launch. <p>You will notice the first two images are for the book. Basically two thumbnails have been done and a whole lot more to go. This Thumbnail up top is actually the second but you will notice the two major forces so far are the Hexan Race- Good guys on right. And opposing forces the Scarab to your left. Had alot of help from my friends with motion blur and lazer fire Tech's.

About this creation

This was a project I tried three times before but it never turned out to my liking but now it will finally be finished very soon. This is the Hexan Flagship the Marquis. I gave her the name because the shape of her hull looks like a diamond.

I would like to also thank Cedekane and El Barto for alot of help over this past year and a half. Thanks Guys...

Quoting Cedekane . Looks like good progress so far! Action packed! Is it going to be pure digital scenes or do you have sets back at home? How many shots are you aiming at making for each episode?

Thanks Ced. Well for the time being I'm going to stick with digital scenes for now. Slowly branch into some backgrounds like orbital platforms or something like that. This is going to be a slow project just so you know. My first installment will consist of just a dog fight and see where that takes me and I will need to work on my back story. Then you guys know what the heck is going on.

Awesome stuff, Pete. Your style brings out some of the more intricate spaceships on the pages, scoring high on originality without being wacky; a good mix between Stargate & Star Wars, me thinks! Keep 'em coming!

Thanks Bro. Ill try to get back to the group as soon as I can. Just been so busy with everything. I do have one pointer I did post on my own group Sci Imagination and Art. There is a link on my home page if you care to take a look. Basically found a easiler way to cut and paste your photo quickly.

Thanks Bro. Yeah Ive been busy with these so sadly slow on the creating part LOL. Anyway thanks for all the help and pointers. Ill try to get back and write a few pointers in your group. Thanks again. Hopefully in a few more weeks ill have my first installment of the Comic Book. Not sure if ill have mini figs yet though trying to keep it look as real as I can make it.
