This is my version of the Droid Control Ship, based on and inspired by Thomas Benedikt's version of this ship. When I saw his ship, I knew I had to build one. So I found images of the Droid Control Ship online, and in books I got from the library. After about 3 weeks of construction with 4 hours a day, I finished right before school started. It totals at 11120 pieces. Hopefully when I've saved up some money I can start ordering pieces for it. Please rate and comment!
About this creation
The engines are huge.
The center sphere was built using a program on the Internet called Bram's Sphere Generator.
These are the antennas which are right above the engines.
This is what it looked like before I attached the center sphere.
This is a very great and wonderfull LDD work! Great design! I want to built your ship but have a chance to buy your LDD File or a PDF Instruction? Regards from Germany. You can contact me: firstname.lastname@example.org
its great looking but remember, what looks practical in LDD, may not be so in real life,
make sure it is structurally sound before building, or else youll end up with the final DCS scene from episode 1! ;)

You stole my LDD file! Actually, I only designed 1/4 of the ship on LDD. The rest was free build. Anyway, great design! It's funny how the piece count was practically the exact same as mine.
Hello! It's great hearing from you, you were actually the biggest inspiration I had to start building. I'm sorry I kind of took your design, I loved yours so much that I knew I just had to make it! But I also tried to give you credit. And good luck with your Super Star Destroyer! It's going to be fantastic.

Very nice. I bet most of those 11000 pieces went into that central sphere... Anyway beautiful work.
Very true, there were a good amount of pieces in the center sphere, but it actually was more spread out than you would think. Mostly because there were a ton of 1x1 transparent yellow pieces, and lots of detailing in general.
