My Hot Rod. if you don't know what a hot rod is: Hot Rod@Wikipedia.
When i started building this baby, i pretty much knew what i wanted: a cool hotrod! so i watched The Cool Hot Rod. a pretty cool movie, that. anyway, i decided to build my hot rod pretty close to those in the movie. therefore, it never occurred to me that i could make a big whopping engine and put it on my hot rod, no, i decided to make a clean-cut, proper, really old-school hot rod. getting the hood to narrow in such an extreme fashion was tough, but i think it looks great now. anyway, check out the pics, review and of course enjoy!!
the inside of the engine bay's a real mess, the whole thing's pretty much held together by single piece. but it works, and i'll leave it at that. i had to use the 4x1.5 plates to fill up the gap left by the 4x6 plates, but i kinda like how the form these air vents now.
the front goes from 8 studs to just 2 studs at the grille. the front wheels were tough to attach too, because i couldn't just run an axle through the 4x6 plates forming the engine bay sides. therefore, the car has barely any body angle, despite the rear wheels being much larger than the ones up front.
Another great one! Yeah, most of my models are dependent on a single piece to keep it together aswell. I like the front of this, it has a clean but effective look about it. The rear is a bit blank though, but still welldone. Alex.
