Previously on No Refuge II: Pap led the group to an abandoned street where they waited and ambushed a Crown Patrol as their test mission.

Music:
Pap: "You three did good out there. Really good."
Kira: "Thanks."
The group headed back toward the gate.
Pap unlocked the gate.
Tye: "So how's The Resistance been for you Pap?"
Pap: "I've had better days. But it beats trying to survive on my own out there."
Tye: "Ya, no kidding."
Pap: "I got a feeling this will all be over soon though."
Tye: "What makes you say that?"
Pap: "We punched a major hole through The Crown when we attacked that dig site of theirs. Especially your friend Jake. He may be gone, but he took their leader with him."
Kira looked away at the mention of Jake.
Pap: "They're weak now. Without they're leader, they'll fall apart. We're not in the best shape either, but we got that GHOST squadron to help us out. Now we can finish them off once and for all."
Tye: "Don't you think it's a little ironic that we're using enhanced soldiers to stop an enemy who was trying to create them? What if we make another freak of nature like The Crown had hunting Jake down?"
Pap: "I doubt that would happen. This is the best way to finish this war in my eyes. If you wanna argue ethics, go talk to one of the scientists about it."
Pap: "But enough about that. We need to go give our report."
