Forest Wizard's Keep
Hey guys I finally got around to building something (HOORAY)! After my last MOC I sort of ran out of inspiration until I saw Ru Corder and Phillip Easter's "Riverside Castle. When I saw it I realized that I had never built a castle MOC that wasn't LotR related (shocking I know)! It's been awhile since I have had so much fun building a MOC. Now I will shut up (for the most part) so you can see the MOC. Enjoy :)
About this creation

The overall MOC. It took me some time to decide on a roof technique. In the end I just used my own custom technique. I am not completely satisfied with it though...

Now for some pics. of the landscape.

"Welcome visitors! Come on in!"

"The first floor. Not much to see in here. I just use this floor when I eat."

"The second floor. It's a little cramped in their so I will just tell you what it's like from out here. Gah! That frog has gotten out again!"

"The third floor. This is my favorite room because I get to use my little magic ball to spy on people!"

The Forest Wizaed. "Thanks for visitng!"

Very cool build. Even if you are not totally satisfied with the roof technique, I think it adds an aged feel to the tower that helps the aura of mystery a wizard needs!

Quoting Builder Allan Very cool build! Plenty of details to see and though you are not pleased with your roof it still looks a lot better than standard sloping roof bricks :-)
Thanks for commenting! It's not that I don't like the roof technique I just don't think it's appropriate for a tower. Thanks for the comment anyways :)

I really like the exterior of this MOC, that's not to say I don't like the interior though. The roof is well designed, and I like how you did the floor outside.

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist I saw this and thought, "cool, looks like Mirkwood, but still cool". Then I saw the second photo and realized there is so much more! Great work, the rocks and wall detailing is superb! I also really like the wooden floor, the colour mix works very well. Great work!
Thanks for the comment! I forgot to mention in above that I used the same tree deesigns from Mirkwood again. I'm glad you like it :)

Quoting Ru Corder So nice! Lot's of great details. Some more overall shots would be nice though.
Thanks! The reason I don't have more overall shots is because I changed the location of where I take my pics. to a smaller white space making it harder to take overall pics.
