2 Year Anniversary MOC!
Yes! My two year anniversary is finally here! I didn't have time to build a special anniversary Moc this time, so I decided to instead show you how much I have improved during the two years I've been on Mocpages.
About this creation
The time before I joined Mocpages:
I found Mocpages back in June 2009, when I was a clonetard. I had just made my first two custom clones, and I wanted to see if I was the first person to make those in Lego, so searched on Google and found Mocpages.
After that, I often went to Mocpages to look at creations. In November, I finally decided to create an account.

November 2009 to June 2010:
This period is what I consider my "clonie" period. I wasn't very good at building during this period, I posted lots of custom clones and I wasn't very mature during this period. I also used bad grammar during this period.

On November 30, 2009 I created my account. The reason for joining was to share my creations and comment on all the Mocs I saw before I joined. I didn't know much about what groups was when I was new.

On December 13, 2009 I posted my first Moc,
my coruscant guard clone base. I was proud of it when I first posted it. Now, when I look back at it, it burns my eyes!! AAH!!! The build isn't very great, it's rainbow warrior at some parts and the photography stinks.

I didn't post much Mocs in December. Back at that time, I was playing with my Legos and I didn't want to take my base apart.

In the beginning of January, I posted a whole bunch of custom clones! Aaaahh!!!

I also made my clone airspeeder in January. It's not bad, but I can now make much better Mocs than that.

This is my battle of coruscant diorama. It was one of my first attempts at making a battle diorama. When I posted it, I also realized that my building skills started to improve.

I was very active with posting Mocs during this period, I posted new creations almost every week! In March, I posted my 50th moc celebration. It's sadly now my second most popular creation, just because I back at that time asked lots of people to comment. It doesen't deserve at all to be there.

In May, I posted my executor. You can see that my skills have improved when I made it, but it can be done MUCH better. This is however, my most popular Moc with over 160 likes and also my most discussed Moc. From May 2010 to November 2011, it has gotten at least one comment every month (except for August 2011). That's something I'm very dissapointed with. It doesen't deserve to be my most popular, but people comment on it anyway thinking it's my best just because it's on my most popular. It has also been blogged once.

Other builds made during this period:

I was also disliked by many people during this period for asking lots of people to comment on my stuff, for spamming, for having too much annoying HTML on my page, and a few other reasons.

In the end of May, I became a moderator for the group Star Wars Lego Creations, which is the largest and most active Star Wars group on Mocpages, it has however gotten a lot of critisism lately because of it's rules.

June 2010 to January 2011:
During this period I was still a little bit of a clonie (I didn't make custom clones, but I wasn't against custom clones and I still used them in some of my Mocs. I also acted like a clonie, mostly in the beginning though.) but my skills improved a lot during this period, and some of the creations is still some of my favorites. I also started to use better grammar when writing and I got better at taking photos.

This is a creation called steampunk LAAT which I made just before
I started to use better grammar and take better photos. It's not 100% steampunkish, but I still think it looks pretty good.

This is my AT-AP, made after I started to use better grammar and take better photos. At the time I made it, I started to put more time and effort in my creations.

I later joined the 2010 MocOlympics. I made a pretty bad entry for my category "Eat lead". I didn't put much effort in it as I didn't feel like building it. I then lost the first round with one point behind.

After that, I made my Mustafar diorama, which still is one of the best dioramas I have made.

I then moved on to make SW vehicles in minifigure scale, these are some of my favorites.

In the beginning of October, I posted my Raxus Prime diorama, a diorama I'm very happy with and the only creation on my most popular that deserves it. The only bad thing is that I used custom clones in it.

I also made some other interesting creations, like my Star Wars episode 3 tower and my Star Wars mini vehicles collection.

On November 30, 2010 I posted my One year anniversary MOC, an improved version of my first Moc. It wasn't as great as I wanted it to be, though.

At the end of 2010, I posted my Christmas Moc.

Other builds from this period:

January 2011 to June 2011:
In January 2011, I finally became a TFOL. I haven't posted as much creations this year as I did before, the reason is that I now put more effort and time on my creations and I also sort my collection, at this time the year before my collection was usually in a big mess for months!

I didn't post any creations in January. In February, I posted my first Moc as a TFOL, my 1910 Ford Model T.

After that I posted a few more Mocs, here's one of them: Mandalorian attack on Coruscant. You can see the improvement in it if you compare it with the Coruscant diorama I made a year before.

In March, I competed in the 2011 MocAthalon. My team didn't do well, but it was still the best contest I had entered and my skills in other themes than Star Wars improved during the contest.

This entry is a special one. It was the first time I used the Straw goat which now is E.K.Ocreations mascot.

After the MocAthalon, I made my second Star Wars mini vehicles collection, I may in the future make a third collection!

In May, I made my best creation ever, my Venator Class Star Destroyer V.3. I'm very proud of it and I really whish it was my most popular.

Other builds made during this period:

In May, 2011, I became head admin for the group Star Wars Lego Crations.

June 2011 to today:
During this period, I have started to build in more themes other than Star Wars.

I wasn't very active with posting Mocs in June-July 2011. I was very busy with vacations. I made my Sig E.K.O Figgys Vacations series on some of my vacations though.

This is my X-wing Version 2, one of the few creations made in July 2011.

In August, I was finally able to build much again. This is my Falu Red House. I also joined Flickr in August.

An another creation made in August 2011.

In September, I made my entry for the first round of the 2011 MocOlympics. This year I decided to put a lot of work into my entry, to easier get to round 2. However, due to all the great entries this year, I lost with more than one point behind, even though my entry was much better than last year. I call that "the largest fiasco in the history of E.K.Ocreations"!

However, I qualified for the MIT contest though. Above is some of the entries I made for it. When writing this, I'm in Round 5.

On November 30, 2011 I posted my two year anniversary Moc which you are reading right now! XD

It's been great two years here and I hope to have many more! Now I want to know, which creation do you think is my best?

I see you don't like custom clones. But with a little work they can look very professional. Ever heard of Arealight custom work? They make great helmets so you don't have to customize one. Check out this if you get the time: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/297454 Thats my really best figure so far and I think it really deserves more likes. --Deff--

Happy Moc-day! Very interesting history! Before I've seen this, I never believed that you used to be a rainbow warrior during your time on MOCpages.

Well I guess I am sort of bias towards the Exectutor seeing as I'm a real OT fan-boy :)

Quoting George G. Despite you not liking your Executor, I think it's your best creation - it saves you having to spend 300 on LEGOs version :)
You think my Executor is better than my Venator?!? :P I don't call it my best because the underside is bad, it's not as detailed as I want it to, and the background is bad.

Quoting Ben The Lego Builder Happy anniversary E.K.O! You have improved so much since you first joined and you have become a brilliant builder. I also think that this overview of your 2 years on MOCpages is really impressive, it shows that you put a lot of effort into it.
I actually wrote all this two weeks ago in a document, then I saved it so I could paste it to Mocpages later. I did that because I may not had time today to write all the text.

Despite you not liking your Executor, I think it's your best creation - it saves you having to spend 300 on LEGOs version :) And we didn't do too badly in the MOCathalon, we came dead in the centre of the leaderboard despite having no AFOLs and only 2 of us actually posted anything!
