Like their fighter counterparts, these bombers only saw actiojn in the first Alien War, as GAIA high command sought desperately sought to develop newer technology.
About this creation

Just came back to study this...So, the pilot is up there in the top? And the bombardier is in the nose? And the shower is somewhere there in the fuselage, I assume... Definitely a cool design, and fits perfectly in the GAIA theme. New episode by the way...

Yeah, regarding only technology, WW2 was a real afterburner. We'd be surely about 50 years behind our time without it. But, everything has its price and WW2's was a really high one!

Quoting Mike Johnson It's good to see you building again and your sweet little bird actually took me back to the 30's version of Buck Rodgers and Flash Gordon with the ultra cheesy sound effects, visible wires holding up the models and the little fire crackers shoved in the tail pipes to produce that roaring flame and smoke effect! Wait, wait I'm not that old, at least not yet, aw never mind. Simply excellent, nw hurry up and get some tops built for the contest, my Draggone battle station needs some targets to obliterate, muh ha ha!
Hehehe, totally old school, grew up watchin the same stuff buddy, cheers and good to see you're still active round these parts,

Thanx Marc, yeh totaly a WW2 in the future deal here, I just love those old planes and ships... Apart from the obviously disastrous deathtoll, WW2 is a fascinating part of history, cheers dude...
