This Drone/Mech, designed by Animal Kingdom (AK) Industries, was a prototype infiltration unit. Of course, the company chose an animal to match the type of Mech they wanted to build. The result was the panther-like AK-R6 "Prowler". This Mech is designed to be a lone wolf of sorts, hunting down its "prey" while keeping to the shadows. However, when put into groups of 5+, these Mechs can use the 8 auto-cannons mounted on their tails to wreak havoc on any moving target. Their nimble and streamline structure allows the AK-R6 to run at speeds most biped Mechs are not capable of, although not as fast as the MT-52 or RS-95. One thing interesting about this Mech however is that it is unmanned. There is no pilot except for an AI Computer mounted in the golden plate that sits atop the Mech's head. However, this computer is capable of interfacing with any other Model of Mech in the E.A.F.'s arsenal, making it an extremely effective companion to other Mechs. In short, the AK-R6 is not truly a manned Mech, but a drone that accompanies other Mechs into battle, almost like a pet, if you will. However, just because it is a supplement does not mean that this Mech should be underestimated, for its sleek design makes it hard to spot and extremely fast, making for a killing machine (literally) capable of taking out multiple targets with ease.
About this creation
A look at the octa-cannons on the tip of the R6's tail. These 30 cal machine guns can deliver one of the largest rates of fire in any Mech on the market, and with 8 of these cannons pointed at you, there is a slim chance you will make it out alive in one piece. Literally.
The front of the Mech. Its streamline shape and sleek parts make this Mech almost undetectable while under the cover of night.
