CAU-AX CyberAgent Beast #3 LDD (2551ad)
another beastly cyberagent
About this creation

Edit: From today I will be going back through ALL the CyberAgent designs to attempt to place some context to the larger story/time-line. This will include the following:

1. changing the titles to include an alpha numerical code for each design so that it can be placed in sequence of chronological position within the time-line. As yet I don't have specifics of this sequence finalised and as a result it could be subject to numerous revisions over the next week or so. One thing that is certain is that it will pre-fix the name of the model/series of models under each entry. The original CyberAgents will have CAU-AA for example, while the CyberAgentsKnights with be CAU-AB etc.

2. I will try to place a definitive date/era in which the sub-plot takes place. Since there is a side-story involving time travel and a retcon concerning the ProtoAgents, this could mean some later references have earlier dates (for example the Redux sub-plot takes place in the 21st century and part of the ProtoAgent plot is in the 20th).

3. CyberAgents and ShadowAgents will now be part of two separate folders, as will Aliens and Demons, but all are effectively CyberAgent Universe designs. From today the term CAU will be used to cover everything in these folders.

4. As much as possible I'm going to try and fill in some of the blanks. Many of the early designs are on other websites but were never uploaded here. (mostly lego.com) I'd like the full back catalogue (or at least images of each design) to appear here as well (if I can still locate a dowloadable file).

Note that any "updated" or "modernised" designs will be shown with their counterpart. This could mean some existing galleries will be revised.

some minor changes to the frame but nothing massively different. Some colour changes and a new wing design (which I'm not happy with as it turned out too small for the body).

Quoting arik lego looking great! one thing I'd like to say, and this goes for quite a few of your Mechs (er, robots :P). try to give them more thickness. they just look a bit too... skinny. also, do you think you could try to add some backgrounds? it doesn't have to be anything fancy, but your creations tend to look kinda dull in a plain white background. I'd suggest finding a free picture off the internet and just adding it into the screenshots. anyway, looks nice! five bodiless glowing minifigs!
curiously enough I don't seem to have found the balance yet on the size thing. Remember these are ldd creations, therefore gravity and friction aren't limitations - yet with t-bar joints, were even these slender creations made from real bricks they may struggle to support their own weight. I guess as my creations get larger I'm going to have to swap over to exo force joints, bionicle joints and tachnic joints, to support not only the size but to beef up the physical form. for now however, I actually like the unique style of them being so thin, it's sort of a signature for the CyberAgents. But I appreciate it doesn't make them appear as imposing as other mecha designs. Part of the limitation is armour, I'm always nervous about sacrificing posing ability for bulk. Put too much armour near a joint and you get maybe one good pose. Plus LDD frequently claims parts are too close when in reality you could legally jam some more bricks in there. it's a learning curve, I have only been mocing on a weekly basis for 3 years, not a long time compared to some other mocers out there.
