LTC Devastator, Part 2: Rampage
Time for another devastator installment! Not only will I be showing you part two of this MOC, but I'll be testing out one of my new MOC stands (made with only ten bricks)! Anyway, forget about the stand, this one's about rampage! In the second movie of the bayformers trilogy, rampage was a huge decepticon who had no legs. Instead, he had two wheels, one on top ad one below keeping him upright, which I could never understand. I never got how his vehicle mode had treads (because he was a bulldozer), but his robot mode had two giant wheels. EPIC MOVIE FAIL! But, you have to admit that that's not as epic as the brawl name fail (no one could forget that one!). For those who don't know what that is, there was a shot of brawl in the first film, but instead of the translation subtitles saying 'brawl', it said 'devastator'! EVEN BIGGER EPIC MOVIE FAIL! WHO COULD POSSIBLY FORGET THEIR NAME! Anyway, time to get into the awesome second part of this combines legoformer MOC!
About this creation
This time, I'll show you the MOC in robot mode before transforming into vehicle mode. I think it's time that I mixed things up a little!

From a close up, you can see two cool things.
The chest is made up of two atlantis flippers
There's a gun on each shoulder

As well as that, he has a cool sword (for the ladies...).

The only problem with the sword is that it's longer than the body when it's being pegged in. That's one of the many uses of this cool stand.

Anyway, time for the transformation. Even though I just put it on, I have to take the sword off.

First, you need to twist the flipper chestpieces down.

Then, you need to remove the guns.

Then, you need to flip the shoulders up.

Next, the arms should fold down. These should form the treads/caterpillars.

The rest of the transformation requires it to be faced down.

The treads should fold in perfectly. Make sure you fold them backwards, not forwards. If you fold them forwards, they form the toes for the foot/leg mode.

The claw should fold right forward. You may have to move the fingers into place.

And finally, you bring up the cockpit.

And there it is, rampage in vehicle mode.

The guns can clip on the front of the treads, but from the back, not the pole thingies.

Also, can you see that little round piece there?

The sword fits right in.

And that concludes another LTC MOC. To see how to build the cool stand, click here.

Quoting Alan Fletcher Um, by the way, about your introduction, Rampage is the red excavator that Optimus Prime shoots in the face at the beginning of the ROTF movie. The Constructicon who forms Devastator's torso is called Scavenger, who looks exactly like Rampage from the beginning. It's an easy mistake, though. Don't feel bad about it. Absolutely epic mini-former though! I really like it & I'm looking forward to the completed LTC Devastator!
Yeah, the bayformers trilogy is known for it's movie fails. Another one, for example, is when they called mirage dino, and wheeljack que, in DOTM. FAIL!
