The 457th corps
Intro: Ahhh, how rusty is my account. I partially left Mocpages, but I find myself looking back at it every now and then. I upload stuff here, time to time, but very little. So, its time to upload something "little" again. :D Sit back and enjoy. Oh wait, one think more, don’t get a false idea with the first pictures. Those aren’t my best, the best stuff is down there.
About this creation

457th Siggy

NAME: CC-1094 "Creb"

RANK: Sergeant

WEAPONS OF CHOICE: 20 cm long Vibro Knife

LEGION: 707th

HISTORY:
Like all his brothers, Creb was born on Kamino. In Kamino, he was taken away from the regular troops to receive specialized recon training. This training included the capability of steering most ships and vehicles, knowing how to plant and disarm charges and the usage of special and big weapons. Creb didn’t become a Recon Officer due to an error in the final test.
Before any other action could be taken, the battle of Geonosis started, so he was send as a test trooper. When the battle was over, instead of joining the troops in the barracks, he was called back to Kamino. Arriving in Kamino he was named sergeant for his outstanding knowledge of military stuff.
After being promoted he got transferred to the 457th, and from there divided into the 707th legion. He is in command of a four four man squad, including himself, the call themselves Dune squad.

Lol Dune squad, it sounds bad but whatever im new ;)

Location: Gand
Transmission from: CC-1094 “Creb”

The arrival to the station wasn’t exactly what you call smooth but we made it. By the time we finished fighting our way through the droid patrolled corridors, the whole station was aware of our existence. As a counter measure, the droids activated massive DAS-430 projectile launchers were activated and started to track us down.
When we finally arrived at the power source of the massive weapon, my squad just had left ¼ of the initial ammo, so we had to be fast. Luckily at the power-ring room, just one DAS-430 was activated and fully functional. So we easily took it out. The not so easy part was to deactivate the ring and come out unharmed and alive.
Plinth, our squad´s tech came up with a plan, while he was hacking into the rings control functions to regulate the floss of power, Axe, the weapon specialist on the team planted some mines on the ring´s supports. After the mines were planted and the power floss was regulated, we had one more thing to do; get out of the station in 5 minutes, before all hell breaks loose…

So, my first mission build for the 457th corps, and till now I enjoy it. Nothing else to say.Well, 7 months later there is something to say, Im really proud of this, my first build for the corps, and it was picked for the "best in show" :D

Location: Gand
Transmission from: CC-1094 “Creb”

Gand wasn’t what you call a holiday. Just as my squad and I arrived at the station, we were already given our first mission. We had to make our way through the desert with the objective of arriving at the crashed wreckage of Cepheus II which collided with the Ring VI
After a long march we arrived at the wreckage. Our mission was to recover some structural data of the ring. The executive powers back in Coruscant had shown some interest in it. We were also informed that the commotion of the two big units colliding and the falling down to earth caused some unwanted visitors, like Gand hordes or plagued Rakghoul soldiers.
When we found the Central Processing Unit, short CPU, Plinth, our Squad´s tech started to retrieve the information that was left. Until now, we hadn’t met face to face with the enemy, but I had that weird feeling of someone or something observing us.

------------------------------------------------------
Yus! Second mission finished.

The research facility wasn’t exactly a luxury hotel, but it would do for resting. I didn’t expect any other firefight in the next days, so my squad and I really settled down. On the second day on the facility, at med-day, red lights in the corridors started blinking. A loud voice came out of speakers on the wall “All personal to evacuation positions, this is not a drill, repeat, this is not a drill”. I ran to my cabin, finding Axe already equipped with a gatling gun. We had to stop whatever was attacking until everyone was evacuated.
We ran down the corridors passing scientists, researchers and explorers, all making their way to the escape vehicles. For a small moment I thought about disobeying orders and escape too, but that thought quickly vanished. We arrived at the area where the intruders were detected. At that moment I knew that this entire mission was rubbish.
Thousandths of spider-like creatures emerged from nowhere, Axe and me shot a few times and then retreated. There was no chance. We ran as fast as we could to the first level of the facility, everyone was already gone. Then I noticed that all this time I hadn’t received any transmission from Plinth nor from Moby (our squad’s engineer). I could just hope they made it…

------------------------------------------------------
I didn’t really liked this build, neither did I liked the mission, but yeah whatever.
MY WORST BUILD FOR THE CORPS KTXBAI

Location: Gand
Transmission from: CC-1094 “Creb”

It was a pity to watch. One whole planet getting destroyed because of a war not even cause by them. The only good think that I looked forward to was to see it end, and know it was for good.
We arrived on the station on our cloaked LAATs. I was still shocked, Plinth and Moby were still missing after the spider attack and I expected the worst. The guide who offered himself to show us the way didn’t arrived, so we had to move on without him.
Our mission was programmed to be fast, but as always, it went wrong. Before we could drop into the generator, Ion cannons started to shot down our LAATs. That meant we were left far from our objective and with a dangerous way ahead of us.
We had to drop into a 2 mile long ventilator shaft. We equipped ourselves with jetpacks and instantly were discovered by droids.

Don’t ya like my awesome stories?

UPDATE TIME
457th Siggy

NAME: CC-1094 "Creb"

RANK: Sergeant

WEAPONS OF CHOICE: 20 cm long Vibro Knife

LEGION: 707th

Now fully upgraded for the waters of Manaan. He has his long range harpoon and his very trusted vibro knife.

Location: Manaan
Transmission from: CC-1094 “Creb”

The native Selkath didn’t liked us. You could tell by the way they looked at us and of their negative attitude towards us. But yeah, you couldn’t choose where you are deployed to fight a war with no coming end in sight.
Dune squad was right now just formed by me and Moby. Plinth was still missing and Axe was in a medical facility after getting hit by a droid blaster on our previous mission.
Our mission was to find the star map in a long abandoned base. One Selkath warrior with a grumpy attitude was volunteered to show us the way. We found the base relatively quickly and we just had to take out one manta droid ship. Everything was looking good…

------------------------------------------------------
The background Lego wall should not be included in the 16x16 perimeter. It was just to give the ambient.

Location: Manaan
Transmission from: CC-1094 “Creb”

Thrown into the war because of us was a horrible faith. The native Selkaths were a neutral civilization with no war affairs, but envied because of the tactic location and all the useful resources. The CIS were hard, destroying everything suspicious coming between them and their objective.
But no, instead of fighting for what we had caused we were evacuated because of the important piece of information we retrieved. So, again into the water full of dangers. It wasn’t a challenge to arrive to the downed UT-AT; it was a challenge to hide there until the subs arrived to pick us up.
Nothing much more happened, I just had this thought; the Republic goes to other planets, exposing them to war for their own interests, wasn’t the Republic then as bad as the CIS, or even worse…

------------------------------------------------------
It was fun and challenging to build the destroyed UT-AT, since it had to look rusted and destroyed, but yeah, here we go.

Location: Manaan
Transmission from: CC-1094 “Creb”

This was the kind of relaxed mission I was hoping for. Just evacuate your fellow troopers and pass safely through the CIS cannons, blockades and battlefields. Easy.
We arrived to the shores where the troops were waiting. After we touched shore they immediately started to pick up cargo and war stuff.(Sat gigidy if you read till here). After everything was loaded we submerged again into the freezing waters and of we were, hoping to make it…

------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, short backstory is short this time. I liked to experiment with the submerged pod thingy there.

UPDATE TIME

Yuss! Im a lieutenant now. So of course I had to upgrade Dune Squad. Changed members, armour and weapons.

Also, Creb has now a flamethrower. Something hot for that icy planet. &^)

Yeah, this was disapproved, see the new one here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/of__me/5920154333/in/pool-1539014@N20

Yuss! Im a lieutenant now. Time for someupgrades. New members, new gear and a big flamethrower for that icy planet Nelvaan.

Location: Nelvaan
Transmission from: CC-1094 “Creb”

The artillery did a good job in clearing some of the frontlines. We passed the shattered droid armies and CPs. My squad was new and anxious for battle, but I had to slow them down a bit in order that everything would go smoothly.
We arrived at the down skirts of the hill, where which on top was the sniping point. Axe and Atom stayed down to ensure no one would get us from behind; meanwhile the others climbed the mountain and arrived at the point.
The sniping point had been hit hard. Of course it had been spotted already and CIS cannons made shreds of it, anyway, some cover was still there, enough for what we had to do.
It was a clear and quiet afternoon on the battlegrounds, Spine and me manned the precision snipers. It was a perfect day for sniping, no wind, and cool temperature no distractions. We aimed carefully. A minute later 2 shots echoed through the mountains and immediately hitting their planned targets…

------------------------------------------------------
My biggest 457th corps build till now. Building the mountain was kind of stressful, considering it broke around 3 times. This is also the longest backstory till now, I hope you liked it. Also, you can’t exactly see the snipers but they are there.

Location: Nelvaan
Transmission from: CC-1094 “Creb”

2 Days of climbing, 2 whole days to reach the top of where we thought was the smoothest spot of the CIS CP. The LAAT couldn’t transport us up because they would have been detected. Our mission was to retrieve a Force Crystal for our beloved Chancellor. The intentions he had for it were a secret, we were just troopers, troopers that did the dirty work.
We arrived at the planned spot and started to dig a tunnel through snow, ice and the outer core of the CP titanium plated plastoid walls. Atom was the first one to go down, I immediately followed him and saw that 2 droid commandos were being burned by Atoms flamethrower; I put some shots in the fireball without great effect.
Now, 2 droid commandos down, who know how many more were still out there. We had our plan, and immediately started to match through the corridors, we didn’t had much time, we had to find that force crystal.

------------------------------------------------------
Smoothens at its best 8)

Location: Nelvaan
Transmission from: CC-1094 “Creb”

Destroyed and creepy, those would be the words to describe the CIS CP. Just as we were making our way out of the CP with the force crystal; A Jedi arrived, commanding that he would take care of the crystal, meanwhile we open the path. Typical Jedi behavior, don’t trust the clones.
As we were clearing the upper corridor, the comlink I had started failing, and like that we lost connection with the Jedi Master. Never mind, we followed our objective and arrived at the outside of the station. We once more tried communicating with the Jedi, telling him the path we took to come out, we wouldn’t leave him behind, not for being a Jedi, but for having the crystal.
After some time waiting outside, weird sounds emerged from the CPs entrance. Axe decided to launch a flare in case it would get messy, so the LAAT would know where to extract us. We expected the worse, and the worse happened, super battle droids.
Where were those Jedi when we needed them…?

------------------------------------------------------
Not my best. But I was trying something new, border and a smoke effect. Tell me what you think.

UPDATE TIME

Yeah, shiny new armour, big new weapons, hunger for missions. No long description about each of the members.
-------------------------------------------------
On other news, 2 awesome Mocs coming up, my 10.1 mission for the corps, and the 32x32 post-apoc dio.

Location: Geonosis
Transmission from: CC-1094 “Creb”

The AA cannons hit our LAATs hard. It did an A+ crash landing in order that we come out. It was a bit uncalculated by the pilot, so, he and the gunner died in the deadly collision with a thick sandstone. Pixel, Axe and Spice had jumped out time before into the soft sand, while I and the rest of the squad had to experiment what it is like to crash into a thick vibro armored elephant.

We were trained for fast reaction, no dizziness, we fastly got up and I tried to communicate with the rest of our squad’s troopers, but it was useless. So, all we could do for the moment was to unload some supplies and wait for a signal. Waiting, patience, in the wide and open sands of Geonosis, waiting as an easy target…

------------------------------------------------------
My new objective; End Bad! By the way, stay tuned, grab your popcorn, lean back, my final contest entry will be up soon.

Location: Geonosis
Transmission from: CC-1094 “Creb”

They were coming out of the ground like ants would come out of a hive. The only difference was that ants where easy to kill. Persistent, battle experienced and armed to the teeth, that’s how every soldier would describe a geonosian.

Orders came through that we had to blow a major tunnel, which directly led to a massive geonosian hive. We gathered some men and much explosive. We arrived at the blow point, and boy, what a blow point. Corpses of our soldiers and rests of droids were scattered all over the floor.

We had no time to remove them. The situation was critical. We planted the explosives, retreated a bit and powered the switch. 3…2…1…

End of transmission
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You don’t like my explosives? Deal with it :P

You like the back-story? Oh… you know you do!

Hahaha! I thought that Creb was mad at leading us into unknown enemy territory. We didn’t know anything about the surroundings, we just knew that we had to find some local traitor, and his militias were hidden in some fortified camp. But, boy, are these rookies going to learn how to hide and get undercover?
Once they heard the steady Clonk-Clonk of our AT-RTs they scurried around like little mice, and when you are talking about a “Fortified camp”, I would have expected something really fortified, not just some overgrown ruins with some tents there and there. But yeah, once a traitor, always a traitor and I will respect any measures Creb takes against them.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Better view of the AT-RT here

So that’s how a gunned down city looked like? No power and water supplies, every second building with a laser scar, scattered bodies all over the streets. Yes that’s how it looked, and we are the cleanup crew. Just after coming back from a night raid, relaxing, trying to get some rest, a transmission came in with a mission.

So we got up again, armor on, gear check, weapons loaded. Our mission was to take out some mobile turrets, or that’s what I understood. Those turrets were the ones responsible for the heavy losses on our rows. We arrived in a destroyed (what looked like) an alley. We split up. Pixel and I took the left side, and immediately 2 turrets came out of nowhere, making beeping sounds, aiming…
