About this creation

EDIT

<<<< Quoting Christian J Who will be going on vacation starting in the 19th of December and won't be adding new MOCs until he arrives :---:
This mecha is really unique. If you can just make the arms and legs a little bulkier, you might be as good as Andrew AKA Hump Free. Trust me, your LDD presentations should really get more attention. >>>>

I've been playing with ways to do just that...

Known by PowerAll engineers and executives as the CyberAgentKiller, the Customised Security Unit is an advancement on the Prototype frame. Designed to match CyberAgent technology in terms of speed and agility. They come equipped with an inbuilt weapons arm and detachable sword. While these are largely mechanical in nature, they have received several retro-engineered experimental components based not only on CyberAgent biotronic technology, but also Alien Technorganic systems as well.

So much so that these things have individual personalities and fighting styles.

The coloured markings on their shoulders and helmets indicate rank and function, red is command, black is tactical and white are grunts. (similar to the security droids).

Biggest improvement is the introduction of an internal power relay system which eliminates the need for external cables and wires.

sword master variant

The sword Master Variant is designed to utilise melee weapons in much the same way the original CyberAgents were. Loosing the gun arm, it increases the unit's versatility, allowing it not only a wide range of swords and other bladed weapons, but a variety of guns.

This model was specifically built to challenge CyberAgents, however at the time it was designed the CyberAgency was not officially active. PowerAll clearly had their scope set on a possible future encounter between the two organisations. But what is more likely is that they were preparing for the likely event that some mothballed CyberAgent (or more likely ProtoAgent) units were acting as security on the abandoned silos.

The Forth Wall bit:

This is essentially a combination of all the PowerAll design features so far combined into one unit. The overall look is very CyberAgent, though much more bulky than most. I love both sword designs. More guns and alternate blades may follow.

Design wise the feature I'm most impressed with is the upper body. The "engine" section and bulked up chest, give this a much less anorexic look than the CyberAgents. This is an aspect of the design I may carry forward to both sides.

One nice to have I omitted from the design is somewhere to store the weapons when not in use. This effectively means that they are outfitted at head quarters and let loose with mission specific equipment, which they would shed as it became spent or damaged.

One sinificant difference between PowerAll and CyberAgent designs of this "era" is the lack of a visible "eye" on the helmet, common to all CyberAgent and ProtoAgent designs of the CAU-AA through CAU-AM era. (and many ShadowAgent designs) however later designs such as the SaintSinner actually seem to share more in common with PowerAll units. This may influence the direction of the story.

One additional change to the overall plot I had not anticipated at the time, but which I'm making official with my next series of designs, is that the race to recover the "Atlantis" will be between the CyberAgency and PowerAll, originally PowerAll were not mentioned beyond the PPM era.

Note: Lessons learned from this design may influence "remixed" reversions of some CyberAgent designs, just like the ProtoAgent designs influenced the SaintSinner units. But at present I'm not looking to remake the whole line as I'm actually quite proud of the history I've made here. But there is always the possibility of another reboot, I'm only up to the "C" universe so far....

Quoting Andrew AKA Hump-Free Hmmm, nice work on the unit itself, but I find having large streams of images to be something to avoid, personally I prefer having some sort of context for each image as I scroll down, it makes everything flow more than having chunks and makes me feel like each image has a place in the presentation. Also, the AH in the name of this unit before or after Christian J mentioned me? If not, that would be a crazy coincidence.
did I not explain in the description? CAU relates to Cyber Agent Universe, a catch all for all these creations, the AH is a randomly chosen pair of letters indicating time-line and era. "a" for the main time-line and "h" for the PowerAll era. If this creation (or any designated AH era) were intentionally referencing you or your designs I would have stated so in the credits. It is entirely a coincidence.

Impressive! Although, the t-joints feel a little small for the scale of the MOC.

Quoting Rabid Goldfish Rather nice design and good mixtured of variants. The one thing I noticed though, you have a habit of setting the default position, where it's just standing so that it's design can be displayed, too rigid. Give the joints a little bit of bend and give, and it'll definitely look better. ^Blub^
curious, that never occurred to me. curious thing is that I do make an effort to make sure they can be posed, I even mention it in the descriptions (sometimes). I need to start showing them in "action" more, help build up the story a little. thanks for the comments
