AK-L5 "Valkyrie" Mech

Death from above. This is the newly designed AK-L5 "Valkyrie" Mech! The winged design is a newly implemented technology, as it is almost impossible to keep a Mech suspended, let alone glide through the air, that was until the Magnetized Gyroscope was implemented onto this prototype Mech. The gyro constantly shifts the balance of the Mech, shifting the inertia that the Mechs power-core generates to keep the Mech upright in flight, as well as allowing the wings to do their job, create lift. The wings are designed for one purpose, which is to create a good balance of lift to weight ratio, one that keeps the Mech heavy enough to not fly like a feather in the wind, but light enough to be lifted by updrafts and carried by the atmospheric currents. This revolutionary new design means that the Valkyrie needs 0 lbs. of fuel for thrusters because the Mech has none! This makes the AK-L5 practically invisible to both the naked eye and to radar. Despite its tactical advantages, The AK-L5 only has two 20 caliber sub machine guns for protection against light enemy fire, and is no combat Mech. It is used as a surveillance Mech, going deep behind enemy lines to provide reconnaissance data. However, if the need arises, the "Valkyrie" does have one unorthodox offense capability. It is able to go into a steep dive, reaching speeds of up to Mach 3, and descending on it prey. Right befor the L5 reaches its target, it spreads its huge wings and rockets across the ground, (by this time the Mech is going to fast for any offense to be mobilized) picking up its prey and taking it high into the sky and dropping it for an altitude between 50 and 80 thousand feet. Operation Blackout used modded versions of these Mechs to swoop down and snatch up unsuspecting Mechs that impeded the MN-009's path.
About this creation

A photo of the Operation Blackout L5, known as the RF5. The sonar antennas on the top of the Mech were to jam enemy signals covertly. Also, the Modded L5's were equipped with new foot units, created specifically for picking up enemy Mechs and Armor. This Machine is a legend, and there is only one in existence, since the other 7 were melted down and reused.

A look at the Valkyrie's 20 Cal sub machine gun turrets mounted to the shoulders.

A Birds eye view of the Valkyrie! (Get it?! Get it?! Birds eye view...the Mechs a bird....eh hem...anyways...) One can see the massive wingspan this Mech boasts, letting the AK-L5 glide effortlessly.

A closer look at the L5's wing. The construction is extremely simple to cut down weight.

The tail of the AK-L5 "Valkyrie". The tail provides necessary support and stabilization where needed, keeping the Mech in flight.

A view of the "Valkyrie" going into a steep dive.

A rare sight, the AK-L5 on the lookout for enemies!

Quoting arik lego looks awesome! I had better get my old Valkyrie-class cruiser up soon before its name has no originality whatsoever. :P my only suggestion is to add weaponry of some kind. even light machine guns would be a little more effective. otherwise, this is amazing. a Mech capable of flight without using thrusters? brilliant.
Thanks bud! I just found this technique for wings and decided to put this little baby together. Im thinking im gonna put some light machine guns on it now that you mention it haha. But yea get that cruiser up! I love space ships and the like!
