The SK-12 is a 4th generation air superiority fighter for the TAF. After 20 years of stellar service, they have been accepted into all branches of the military. Due to its great payload, it has proven to be a capable light bomber, and its mach 2.3 top speed makes it an excellent interceptor. Despite all this, it lacks superior maneuverability and therefore, it is a sitting duck for more agile craft. It is for this reason that the firebird is used in pairs. It is currently the largest designated strike fighter in the TAF.
Current Status: No longer in service with the Talian navy, but still used as an interceptor by the Air Force.
About this creation
The SK-12 uses a two man configuration, the fore seat belongs to the pilot, who is also in charge of any air-to-air combat, while the aft seat belongs to the navigator, who is also in charge of any air to ground strikes via bombs.
Landing gear extended.
Landing gear retracted; this is the first time i've integrated retractable landing gear into a creation of mine.
Due to its unique shape, pilots have nicknamed it the "goose jet."
Thank you for viewing! Constructive criticism is highly appreciated!

Nice plane, the wings are great, like a blend of a Sukhoi and a Tomcat with it's wings extended. However, my favorite part is the HUD design, mind if I use it?
