Heavy Gunship Hover Armor
About this creation
This is the Caladbolg Hover Armor: Heavy Gunship Hover Armor. The Caladbolg is a complete modification of the Dussack Hover Armor. Like the Dussack, the Caladbolg has vastly superior maneuverability and similar mobility when compared to a regular wheeled vehicle. To make up for it's fragility, the Caladbolg has heavier armor plates.

40 - Hydra-70 Rocket
4 - AGM-114 Hellfire

Armed with four AGM-114 Hellfire anti-armor missiles and forty Hydra-70 general purpose unguided rockets, the Caladbolg is designed to provide heavy support for ground units from the air. With the ability to load multiple warheads ranging from white phosphorous to flechette canisters, and an advanced hover mobility system; the Caladbolg is an ideal craft for effective fire support.

The Caladbolg fills the role of a helicopter gunship,
providing highly effective fire support from the skies.

Heavier armor as well as a fully enclosing cockpit
shield has been afforded to the pilots for protection.

The chin mounted double M134 Miniguns have been
replaced with a sophisticated sensor suite system.

The AGM-114 Hellfire missile launch pods lift away
from the hull to prevent damage while firing.

Because of the additional armaments and auxiliary
systems, the Caladbolg requires a pilot and gunner.

Powerful back engines allow the Caladbolg to hover at 25 feet, or even 40 feet for faster fuel use.

Hey, this looks really good! Great shape and detailing...it dosen't even look like the mini-figs could fit in there. A very skilled MOC...nice work!

Man, that thing looks kick-arse. At first I thought it was a mini capital ship! But it makes a nice hover tank too. Great job.

A fantastic use of excessive greebling on such a small MOC. In particular, I love the use of technic cogs th finish of the missiles and the odd piece of blue/grey strategically placed breaks up the monotone grey extremely well. In summary.......small yet perfectly formed! ;)
