Hello, this is a British 18th Century fortress, the primary role of the fort is to provide a citadel for the Royal Dockyard. There are around thirty 36 pounders on top of the bastions and the fort and ther is a shot heating furnace to allow heated shot to be fired. In the casemates of the fort are Royal Marines Artillery making up powder charges that supply the forts guns and His Majeftys Ships. In this display there are around 500 minifigs that form Artillery men, foot Guards, the Royal Navy and of course lots of Royal Marines in their custom round hats, enjoy lots more to come shortly ! Hello Richie Ryan, thanks for your comments, the army is built through bricklink and funded by ebay sales. I am currently on about 3000 marines and sailors which have taken about 5 years to build up. I have just finished a squaron of five minifig scale corvettes (1800's) so I will get them posted in the next week or two.

this is so cool!! ill admit im more of a castle fan (for building anyway) but i LOVE the age of the red coats and im obsessed with reading about the crimean war, napolean wars etc so this MOC really apeals to me!! top notch 5/5
