this'll probably be the subject of the Robots' next ghost story.
About this creation
well, Rabid, here's your present. I apologize for the color scheme. I tried to give it racing stripes, but it just didn't turn out well that way.

this is sort of a cross between a Mech Battle Suit and an AEGAKS exo-suit. I gave it sort of a walker-style body, with the Arkham's signature arms and "double-kneecap" legs, with an excess of MBS-based elements added into it across the body. when I was through with the legs, it looked amazing. unfortunately the cockpit didn't (at least in my opinion) turn out nearly as well. it's yours, so feel free to change things.

at the moment, it doesn't have any weaponry. you can make your own if you want, but I'll be posting some weapons for it later. there are three key points at which you can mount weapons. one, its hands (duh) two, its elbows, which have ball joints to attach weapons onto. I intended for the elbow-mounted weapons to go across the bottom of its arms, but there are other possibilities, probably. third is those two little things on top, which you can attack missile launchers and such onto. there's also two basic attachment points on the sides of the cockpit. I attached four shock flares onto the sides to take care of hijacker drones, but there are plenty of other things you could do with them as well.

guess what? I got an ejectable cockpit onto this thing! do I get a medal? :P

wait, how did he get in there? what happened to the test pilot? oh well, I'll just give the Agents a call.

anyway, have fun Rabid, and merry Christmas.

Quoting CBMC Chunkblaster Very interesting design you have here, probly the most original of all your presents creations! I fear that with how far apart the arms are from the shoulder joint, they might not be able to support their own weight, but thats not a problem considering this is just digital.
I think I'm going to redo the body. I'm kinda unhappy with it, seeing as it looks like an Imperial shuttle with arms, and the techniques in it really aren't that great compared to the rest of the Mech. and yeah, I had to space the arms a bit to make room between them and the legs. if the body turns out like I want, I shouldn't have that problem.

Quoting Rabid Goldfish Interesting. First off, you need to post a pic with the pilot block ejected, to show that it works. An unusual choice for the design. Definitely feels good and unique, but you know, this is sort of how I imagined the Pre-Fog War machines would look like. Ones that the AEGAKS would later be based on. That having been said, include the ejection pic and you've nailed it. Great work on this. ^Blub^
I'll edit that in when I get the chance. to be honest, I think I might redo a bit of this. it just didn't turn out nearly as well as I would've liked. in the meantime, have fun with this. :)

@Richie: Yes, you did say that, but I already knew that that's what they were called and I guess Arik just saw my post first.

Quoting Colonel Me23456789 How, Arik? How do you make such amazing things? Every time I try to build a mech, something (usually the feet, or the legs, or the arms... or the mech...) just comes out wrong. Excellent work with the dog-legs!
dog-legs... THAT's what they remind me of! I knew they reminded me of something, and all I could think of was Arbiter. :P and by the way, go check the very back few pages of my gallery on Design by Me. that, after fifteen years of LEGO building experience, was the best I could come up with. if you can beat that, you're doing fine. give yourself a couple months of designing, as well as observing all the techniques used by other Mech designers, and you'll be one of the best Mech designers there are.

Quoting Richie "Richie2571" Collins I. Envy. Goldfish. ME LUVZ DIGITIGRADE LEGZ! (if you dont know what "digitigrade" means, compare a dog's hind legs to this thing's legs) ...Excellent combination of styles!
well, there's always the possibility your present might turn out a bit more like this than a standard MBS. :P I am starting to run out of original MBS ideas anyway, and those legs turned out so well I'd gladly make more things like them. by the way Richie, is it alright if I change the bright blue on your Mech to a different shade, maybe earth blue or sand blue? the bright blue just doesn't look very good to me, and I have trouble building a Mech if the colors don't look right.
