About this creation
Greetings, my fellow ABS addicts! It's that time of year again. The shopping malls are amuck with crazy people, coffee shops are serving up spiced lattes, and every Legohaulic around the globe is holding their breath in anticipation of that magic moment...when they shake their presents Christmas morning to hear the oh-so-sweet, tell-tale rattle of plastic bricks!
And in celebration of this wonderous time or year, several MOCpages friends have once again joined together to share in the spirit of gift-giving in an event we call "Secret Santa."
As you may have gathered from other Secret Santa posts, we've created little MOCs for one another. Your job is to see if you can guess who each builder's enigmatic gift-giver is. So without further ado, I present the present that I was presented with...

Just an ordinary Christmas stocking you say? Oh contrair, Mon Frere!

This stocking is stuffed with all kinds of Lego goodness!

But here's the question: Who do you think the genius is behind this little gem? These are our particpants this year:
Matt David
Stuart Delahay
SkyWalter
El Barto
Giovanni Seynhaeve
Mr. Bones
Mr. Xenomurphy
Hans Dendauw
Leda Kat
Chris Phipson
Dave Kaleta
Tyler Halliwell
Lee Jones
Stacy Sterling
Master Shifu Leo J
Heath Flor
Dave Sterling
Dennis Price
Yuri Fassio
...and one of them was kind enough to send this terrific little MOC which now graces our family room fireplace mantle.

Have a guess and then check back after Christmas for the reaveal - I'll post the builder here on the page for all to see. And if you feel up to the challenge, head over to our Secret Santa group to have a go with the other MOCs!
In the meantime, here's wishing everyone a wonderful year in 2012, and to all...

January 13, 2012 - Sorry it's taken so long to post this, but that seems to be my M.O. lately *sigh*...Anyway, for those still with me out there it's time (or long past time!) to give credit where it's due. My Secret Santa for 2011 was...
El Barto!
Thanks once again, my friend. And to any that happened to guess right, congratulations...you win a sandwich!

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist
I was browsing around some old contests today, and saw that you were in the first MocAthalon. Did you contribute any entries, if so, where can they be found? I'm just curious, because I can't find them in any of your folders.
~Cheers, LukeClarenceVan
I only managed a couple of entries that first year - http://mocpages.com/moc.php/187393 , and http://mocpages.com/moc.php/187679 - one of which got DQ'd. LOL...not real impressive performance. |

Glad you liked it, Mark! It was a lot of fun to build and customize. You, in your Classic Space PJs, AFOL of the Year Award on the mantel. You as a kid with the beginnings of your Medieval weapons collection. And future you dressed as Santa, doing I don't know what. Anyway, that was the concept. Until next year! |

I wouldnt dare trying to guess who the builder is, as I still think I know almost nothing about any of you guys, but I sure feel curious about who did it. Please do tell! |
