"Often imitated but never duplicated!" Secret Santa 2011
About this creation
Greetings boys and girls and welcome to "Secret Santa 2011!" That time of year when a group of us friends get together and exchange small vigs with each other. This is the second year for this and I truly hope there's many more. It's so much fun building something for someone who has no idea who they're receiving it from. Anyway, I recently received a package from (insert name here) with my AWESOME gift inside! I'm not going to say too much more so as not to give away the builder but at this point all I'll say is...

THANK YOU SANTA!

And now, on to the pics! At the end you'll see a list of the Secret Santa participants for you to try to hazard a guess as to who built this for me. Of course my photography skills have never been the best but I truly believe they actually HURT this moc it's so beautifull! So, sorry santa!

For those that don't know my background, I used to be an ice skater with Disney on Ice

And for 4 of the 6 years I was there, I was the Genie in Aladdin.

My secret santa used this knowledge to build this very personal and wonderful gift of a Genie inside his lamp for me!

I think this moc deserves to go on the "Disney on Ice" shelf as opposed to the "Lego" shelf...

I just can't say this enough, Thanks Santa!

Fourth Wall Commentary: Well, there you have it folks. Wasn't that thing just SWEET!!! First, I'd like to apologize for not posting a whole lot recently. Between work (2 jobs) and family life I just haven't had time to focus on any small builds lately. I HAVE however been working on two collaborative builds. Bricks by the Bay and BrickWorld. Neither build is anywhere near done but I spend any spare few seconds I have on them. So again, I'm sorry for not posting a bunch. I hope each and every one of you has a wonderful and merry Christmas this year! Ok, now it's your turn. Who was my secret santa?

The possibilities were:
Matt David
Stuart Delahay
Kevin Walter
Giovanni Seynhaeve
Mister Bones
Mr. Xenomurphy
Hans Dendauw
Leda Kat
Master SHifu Leo J
Dave Kaleta
Tyler Halliwell
Lee Jones
Stacy Sterling
Heath Flor
Dave Sterling
Dennis Price
Mark Kelso
El Barto
Yuri Fassio

Go on, take a guess!

Also, you can head over to the Secret Santa 2011 group and try your guesses at the other entries!

Till next time true believers!
~Chris.

P.S. Secret Santa will be posted HERE after Christmas!

Update: 01-01-12 Time to reveal my Secret Santa. This beautiful gift was hand delivered to me the week before Christmas by none other than the master craftsman, Dave Kaleta! Thank you so much Dave!

Hello, I came across this group, and it's a very interesting idea. http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=19782&topicid=78014#comment-927793 I think with your experience this could really be a fantastic event, and I'd hate to see this opportunity slip by. What do you think?

You have done some awesome builds ! o.O Hi again Chris. Dont know if you remember me.
Quoting Chris Phipson We do talk about some "grown up" things in that group from time to time and I wouldn't want one of your kids to come across it by accident. If you think this won't be a problem, let me know and I'll approve your membership. I just wanted to let you know what kind of a group that is before approving your membership. Please let me know, thanks! ~ Chris.
Hi Chriss. It wont be a problem. This is my account. The kids have their own. However we do upload from this. It just made sence at the time being. Now they got their own. But we still build together offcourse. I would really like to join. And be sure none of the kids uses my account. The rule is: Touch my PC, or my MOCīs kids, and i will take your LEGO from you for a month ! :p

If not, please let me know so I may have time to construct a team, or at least decline some of my offers. Thanks a bunch Chris.

This can be either Lee, Kelso or Dave Sterling. Who else has a collection capable of producing something like this? Xenomurphy? Not his style. I already said Kelso and Dave, so I'll say now Lee (even if it probably IS Kelso, anyway. It's too personal not to be him).

Oh, thanks for reminding me that you worked with Disney on Ice, now I can make a laughing stock of you... but I won't because that would be cruel of me. As for who built it, I'm gonna take a wild stab in the dark and say...Kaleta. Just a hunch. That's all.
