About this creation
This scene depicts the battle between Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty at the end of The Final Problem.
Originally it was supposed to be the death of Sherlock Holmes, however because of the complains of the fans Sir Conan Arthur Doyle decided to revive the detective.
As you can see I added the cane and the letter that Sherlock Holmes left behind for his friend Doctor Watson.
Here is the letter;
MY DEAR WATSON
I write these few lines through the courtesy of Mr.Moriarty, who awaits my convenience for the final discussion of those questions which lie between us.
He has been giving me a sketch of the methods by which he avoided the English police and kept himself informed of our movements.
They certainly confirm the very high opinion which I had formed of his abilities.
I am pleased to think that I shall be able to free society from any further effects of his presence, though I fear that it is at a cost which will give pain to my friends, and especially, my dear Watson, to you.
I have already explained to you, however, that my career had in any case reached its crisis, and that no possible conclusion to it could be more congenial to me than this.
Indeed, if I may make a full confession to you, I was quite convinced that the letter from Meiringen was a hoax, and I allowed you to depart on that errand under the persuasion that some development of this sort would follow.
Tell Inspector Patterson that the papers which he needs to convict the gang are in pigeonhole M, done up in a blue envelope and inscribed "Moriarty."
I made every disposition of my property before leaving England and handed it to my brother Mycroft.
Pray give my greetings to Mrs. Watson, and believe me to be, my dear fellow
Very sincerely yours,
SHERLOCK HOLMES.

Well I hope that you all enjoy this little moc and I wish you all a Mery Christmas and a happy new year!
Also credit to Paul Vermeesch for giving me the idea of using Draco's clothings for Moriarty.

that is awesome i love how you have done the water. I love the position they are in it seems any second they are both going to fall, I am an enormous sherlock holmes fan, for my sherlock holmes i used philip swift's head from whitecap bay and i used lucius malfoy with grey hair and a top hat. Your model has inspired me to make lego sherlock holmes creations!
First I want to apologise for my late reply, I just wanted to say that I am very glad that I could inspire a fellow Sherlock Holmes fan and that I am looking forward to seeing your Sherlock Holmes creations!

Nice job! Both characters look great and the water technique is one I haven't seen before but is very good! I myself am currently making a Sherlock Holmes moc, inspired by the new film.
As I said before, great work on this.

Well the water technique isn't mine someone on Flickr called 'LL' did it first (atleast I saw him doing it first) I am also planning to build some scenes from the next movie after I have seen it ofcourse ;)

Very cool! I'm a big Sherlock Holmes fan myself. I really like the mini-figs and--like everyone else is saying--great water! The first picture almost looks like forced perspective (the cliff appears to be a lot taller then it really is), was that intentional? Awesome job sir!
Glad to hear that you like it, and the forced perspective is not intentional, just happens to look that way :)

That's even scarier...I know Max Pointner in "real life" and he has a knack for saying: "great minds think a like". Designing the same figs, saying the same things, are you guys like long lost brothers? Heh.
Haha that is indeed very scary, perhaps we are long lost brothers =P |

Wow! That is scary. My Sherlock Holmes head is almost identical to yours, and my Moriarty has the same one. I use the knight bus attendant's head, but I did consider using the cook. Nice work on the water!
