MOC Speed Contest R1– Happy July First!
Happy July 1st! - What if the New Year started half a year later, on July 1st? What would be different? Build it!
About this creation

I have no heat tolerance whatsoever. This is a fact.

Notes: First off, thank you to Flare for reminding me about the MOC Speed Contest– I'm afraid it completely slipped my mind! Sadly, I don't have a truly great offering due to my forgetfulness, so please forgive this little build that I, in the spirit of a speed competition, threw together as fast as I could.

It must be said, I had no creative ideas for this category, so I went for a more realistic take than I would usually build. This is a pretty accurate scene of me in July: trying not to melt in a cave, or under a rock, or usually my basement. I try to reemerge only at night, when it's cool enough to move without collapsing into a puddle of mush on the floor. If I had a walk-in freezer, I wouldn't ever leave it.

I have always wanted to make good stonework, it seems pretty hard.By the way, check out this lego.wikia.com/wiki/9468_Vampire_Castle .

OK.... I know you didn't have a lot of time to do this in, but your build is still up to scratch! I would have liked to see an expansion on the story, but I'm still going to award you 12 + 1 = 13 points. Thank you.

Interpretation of Category: 2/5 Photography/Set-up: 4/5 Quality of Build: 4/5 My Personal Rating: 4/5 Bonus Points: 1/5 Total: 15/25 I like the build for this, but it would be nice if you had put some more effort into fitting this into the category- even an explanation as to why New Year was on the 1st of July would have been nice.
