Smaug the Golden
The great dragon from Tolkien's "The Hobbit".
About this creation

I started reading "The Hobbit" again and was inspired to start building another Smaug. This is the result, so far, as I am still working on the rest of him.

My original LEGO Smaug can be seen here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=11805

Quoting Nathaniel Ely I love that effect for the eyes! Did you use 1x1 with studs (4081b) with the joystick bottom on each side?
