My Catagory: Happy July 1st! - What if the New Year started half a year later, on July 1st? What would be different? Build it!

About this creation

Didn't really have an idea at first, but in the summer most people go to the beach. So that's what I decided to build...

The whole build. Not too much.

Here's a lonely guy, laying on the beach. I think he may have had a bit much rum. I tried lots of different wave designs. This is what I settled on.

Five seconds away from the new year, almost time to light the first firework! But wait where's the lighter!?! I think the monkey might have taken it XD

Beyond the brick:
Well that was it. Not much, but let's hope it gets the job done. Sorry for mostly bad pictures too by the way, it was pretty dark out.

Interpretation of Category: 3/5 Photography/Set-up: 3/5 Quality of Build: 4/5 My Personal Rating: 3/5 Bonus Points: 1/5 Total: 14/25 This is a pretty nice build, but I feel that some more explaining as to why New Year's Day was later would have been nice. I like the techniques you have used for the water and sand. Next time I would suggest trying to build your entry a day earlier though, you lost out on some points in that category.
