A Top Fuel dragster built only using the parts of mini Creator Set #5865 (green lorry), including some tire stretching
About this creation
I'm still playing around with my mini Creator sets. The next idea I had was a Top Fuel Dragster. I used the parts of the green lorry set 5865 to build it:
That's a big V8 there in the back ;-)
If you think, these tires aren't parts from the set, then take a 2nd look ;-)
I used Hot Rod's tire stretching technique for the rear tires. I needed a cup of hot water and a pair of pliers to stretch the 2nd set of tires enough to fit on the wheels. You may consider this an illegal move, but for me it's OK :-))
The rear end is not very stable, the rear wing and the engine are connected to the rest of the model using only one 1x1 round plate.
The wing looks a little twisted on this photo as it's hold in place only on one side with a 1x1 SNOT brick. Well, these are the limits I had to accept using only the parts of the small set.
So this is my 5865 Top Fuel Dragster. I hope you like it.
Haha good idea. I would really like to buy the new orange creator bike. But I would have to buy two sets so I could build a big ca... Omg what is wrong with me!? I am allowed to build something other than a car right? ;). Hopefully we wont need to use joost's new word that often ;).
Quoting MortalSwordsman . ... An alternate would be a great distraction. Maybe I should build a big ca.... No! What am I saying. ;).
Maybe your mocblock (Thanks for the word, Joost) is already gone ... ;-)) or maybe you just have to buy the yellow roadster set #5767 to do both things :-))
Hi Nils. Good advice I need a break from big cars. An alternate would be a great distraction. Maybe I should build a big ca.... No! What am I saying. ;).
And a Merry New Year to you too Mr O. Hot water and pliers!!! hahaha. I am loving the huge spoiler and V8. I really need to build another alternative soon. I am currently in big car mode.
