A hangar to display some of my Sci-Fi mocs in, built to fit in an IKEA display cabinet in our LEGO room. This is my first adventure in the world of greebles and snot - I missed so much during my dark age!

Thanks for all the great comments, appreciated! Much to Paula's dismay, I'm planning a version 2 hangar with some type of sliding floors and ship-lifts. Need some more practice with the technic first though... |

All in one word: Fantastic! Very authentic, especially the ventilation system, the gallery, and the sliding doors.
( that inspires me for improving my hangar in my mandalorian frigate, where i park my fighters.)
Thanks Stephan, appreciated :) Your Mandalorian Frigate looks spectacular, I hope you get it built one day! |

Unfourtunatly, I nearly missed your dearth of spectacular creations. If not for you favoriting me I would have missed this stuff. This particular creation is incredible. I love the symmetry here as well as all the machinery visable and behind the scenes. This hanger also looks like it would seriously just be fun to play with. Can't wait to see what you will create next. |

Are you sure you haven't been secretly practicing your skills because for someone who hasn't touched his bricks in over 30 years and has old fumbly fingers you're building at a level I have never achieved in my whole 40+ years of life! I think I'll go look at what I was attempting to build recently and curse my ineptness. Never mind me, just keep up the great designs for the rest of us to drool over, but not on the motors. No need to cause a short circuit!
Well, I admit to gazing at plenty of wonderful MOCs here for the last couple of years, so I think that helped a lot! Thanks for the kind words :) |

Congratulation Jon on such a masterful build after such a long quiet stint from the worlds best obsession. Love the INCREDIBLE detailing all over and for all your other creations you have built. Having Arthritis in both hands I know the pain clicking parts together can be, worse separating them. I look forward watching your masterful builds in the future. Cheers.
Thanks! Not quite at the arthritis stage here yet, but it does run in the family. Hopefully NXT V3 will be here soon, and us oldies can build voice activated assembly robots ;) |

Perfect hangar and cool greeb- Wait... What do the mechanics underneath do? What do they do!?!
Thanks! Only lighting and sliding doors at the mo, although I think there may be a version 2 in the pipeline - with sliding floor and some sort of lift mechanism... will be needing a bigger cabinet... |

Sorry, no instructions - but looking at your own builds, I'm sure you can come up with a cracker - that dropship and APC are excellent. |
