A completely motorized Front End Loader, built mainly with the 8069 Backhoe Loader, the 8081 Extreme Cruiser, the 8453 Front End Loader, and some power functions.
About this creation
The PF Front Loader uses one battery box, two IR receivers, two IR remotes, two medium motors, and two XL motors.
The Front Loader has rear wheel drive, powered by an XL motor. The gear ratio is 7:5, but it is still quite fast, due to the speed of the PF motors.
The flaps in the back open to reveal the V4 engine.
The steering is powered by a medium motor. It turns a 20t gear, which turns a 12t gear. This gear is connected to a worm gear, which turns a 24t gear, which turns the front half of the model. The steering gear ratio is 72:5 (about 14:1).
A series of gears connect the second XL motor to the mini linear actuators used for lifting the bucket.
Another gear train connects the second medium motor to the mini linear actuator used for dumping the bucket. This linear actuator moves a series of beams that dump the bucket.
I like the functions, and how you made each one of them work. I'm not sure on the overall construction. I realize you used only 3 sets to make this, but I think you could incorporate some more details. Like a smoke stack, a grill over the back. Details would make it better. (3/5)
