Doctor Who - The Beast Below S05E2
In bed above were deep asleep. While greater love lies further deep. This dream must end, this world must know. We all depend on the beast below!
About this creation
To to all you Britishmen, sorry about your flag, it was the best i could do. :)

****Spoiler Alert****
If you havent seen this episode. Dont read the texts. Also the pictures will kinda ruin the plot of the episode for you. Otherwise enjoy :)

The Beast below.

For all of you who arent familiar with this episode of Doctor Who:
Earth is destroyed and England is now a floating city in space.
While the "country" seems to be ruled by dictators, the truth is far more sinister.

Every citizen must vote once a year and choose whether to forget the truth and live on or protest to what they are told in "the voting box".

If protesting, it seems that they dissapear from Britain. But offcourse no one will remember those having protested.

The Queen herself is fighting the real rulers. But the truth is that she herself have been voting all the time, choosing to forget the truth.

So what is the truth?

When the Doctor discovers the truth, it makes sense why so many people choose to forget.
A star whale, last of its kind, have been captured and is "the engine" for Britains spacestation.
In order for Britain to exist they captured this poor creature and its held captive against its own will.

However Amy discovers that its there by free will. And its just there to protect the childrens aboard the ship.

So all the torturing of the beast below, havent had to occur. It stayed to protect them, care for them. Se them thrive.

Now its realised that both human and creature can live alongside without captivity, and without fearing for each others lifes being spoiled.

Britain:

The city:

Had a lot of fun building the city. All the buildings below are my favorites.

And then it had to be teared apart for the next build.
And finally one of my kids agreed to share his LEGO with me, which means more LEGO for the next build ... Weeeeee.

**** TEASER ****

A teaser of a WIP. For whoever notices it. Guess what it is. :p
Didnt wanted to post it, since it would be funnier to reveal in our upcoming comic.
As all Doctor Who fans know, riddles and clues have been laid out through time and space. The awaken observer with a passion and a skilled eye will notice and learn !

Quoting David Alexander Smith This is a really nice representation of the model from the episode. Great scaling. I'm a huge Who fan, although my heart will always be somewhere between 1978 and 1982 - I've enjoyed the relaunch, don't get me wrong. Have you thought about revisiting some classic who for inspiration?
Oh indeed ... We are gathering the old series and want to make sure we have them all before starting to view them. Right now we dont have series 18 and 21 i think it is. Also we have been to busy with our Doctor Who comic. In case you havent seen it, since youre a Doctor Who fan, please read through it ( Make sure you get chapter 00 also )and let us know what you think. We ( as you ) are very big Doctor Who fans and want this to evolve. And i cant wait to get more inspiration from the old series. Ive seen from 2005 and the movie (1989?) .... And i just love it !!!!! Thanks for the reply man. :P
