This evening, a 911 call came in from StuddsVille harbour.
A man was seen at the docks, and when workers wanted to talk to that person, he was gone, one of the workes only saw the man's baseball cap floating in the water.
Ladder 13 and Rescue 5 where dispatched to the scene.
On scene the Captain of Ladder 13 didnt trust the situation, and calles in a Delta Level 4 Red, so Battalion 1, the on duty Suicide Prevention and Intervention crews, Utilty 1 with Rescue pod, Dive 1 and Wrecker 13 with the RHIB where dispatched.
When on scene, 2 divers entered the water, and started searching.
A Coast Guard helicopter also aided in the search.
After 40 minutes, the body of the missing man was found.
He was strapped to a special floating stretcher, and was lifted out of the water by the crane of Wrecker 13.
Medical crews started CPR and after a few minutes the man had a heartbeat and was rushed to the hospital, where his situation is still critical.
SVPD investigators found out that the man just broke up with his girlfriend, and believed that that was the reason for his deed.
