Star Wars: The Old Republic- Hope
A few remaining Republic troopers are Alderaan's only hope to oust the Sith invaders...
About this creation

I was inspired to do this scene from Hope being my favorite Old Republic Trailer and from both LukeClarence Van The Revanchist's "The Old Republic: Return": http://mocpages.com/moc.php/301708 and Deff's version of Hope http://mocpages.com/moc.php/301732 and wanted to make it kind of large and give it that feel of a foresty battle....so here it is!

Link to the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0RuR3FREFw

Now for some more pics! I think its pretty self-explanatory after watching the clip...

One trooper crouches behind a rock before throwing a thermal detonator at Sith forces!

Now for the characters!

Sith side:

I based most of the droid off of Luke...Revanchist's and tried to make mine a little more to scale with the minifig while trying to make sure that none of the details was lost...unfortunately I don't think mine came out any shorter compared to his so oh well I guess, I still really liked how it came out regardless of scale

Sith troopers- not much of a helmet design was shown in the trailer other than that it seemed pretty basic so i came up with this design and i think it came out pretty well, I wanted to keep the backpacks a different color so you could tell what it was

The Sith Warriors

In the trailer, you see that the Sith Warriors except for Darth Malgus are wearing gray/steel colored masks so to stay as close to the trailer as I could, I used the non-face side of the mummy's from Pharoah's Quest and I think it represents the Sith mask pretty well...as if part of the mask has been broken off in battle to reveal the red evil within!

Republic Side:

Basic Republic Troopers- One with a rifle and one with a thermal detonator like from the beginning- Even though they are more orange than red, I didn't want to paint/sharpie my basic clone troopers bodies or helmets so I just went with this...looks more red in the trailer anyway

Here's the kick butt guy at the beginning with the chain gun that shot out green lasers- I don't know but to me his armor looked a little different than the other troops so thats why he's less red

Here's the main hero of the trailer: Jace Malcom! Or until the Jedi shows up....His blaster cannon in this trailer looked bigger than the one in Return so I made it like this and I think it came out really well

Close up shot with his knife strapped to his chest

Thanks for viewing and please don't forget to comment, rate, and put up some suggestions! (Don't tell me I need more trees because Im all out of brown due to how tall each tree is and limited supply of brown) But any other suggestions are great!

this is really cool! nice minifigure poses, and i do see how you spread it out to give each minifig it's own breathing space; so i commend you on that as well!

Nice scene! I agree, the landscaping turned out well, with the larger scale. Well done!

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Cool! I like the landscaping, and all the action's excellent! The blaster designs are superb, and the use of mummy heads for sith is terrific. I see you made some improvements to my droid design, especially with the torso armouring. Great work!
Thank you! And yeah I was up late trying to figure out what I was going to do for the guns and heads and all of a sudden the idea came to me and it turned out great! And yes I did! What I did was take part of the design from yours and the droideka instructions from lego which allowed me to get the scale a little better and I used some reference pictures to finish it off...I like your use of those black thorns or spikes for the feet, I couldn't find any :( but thanks for your feedback I appreciate it!
