Hey Man, as I stated with the "Falling Star", I really feel that your parts usage has come along nicely, this shares the same smooth feel that the "Falling Star" has. While I feel that this is a vast improvement from the previous incarnation, I happen to have with the design are the "Hand" Portion and the Feet. A part of me feels that the Feet happen to be too narrow and could use some blue to help make them look more a part of the MOC. With the "Hand" Portion, from what I read, correct me if I am wrong, are the portion of the "Shockers" that fire the "Conductors"*. I really feel that you could expand on the Weapon, make it appear more as a Launcher, right now that give me a Melee feel. Also, I suggest showing what a Round would look like. Aside from the those aspects, I see no major Issues. Now, I feel what I said about Explaining in my comments about the "Falling Star" could be applied to this MOC as well, and future MOCs as well. Make sure to use Text and Visuals together, not apart. Also, while you made an effort to make the backdrop color neutral, I feel that you could do more. What I suggest is finding three larges Sheets of Cardboard, placing each piece to make a Corner, a floor and two perpendicular walls. Once you have the wall set up, you can use Copy paper, if you're careful, you can make a seamless appearance. With this, you can have a White Backdrop, that uses everyday items and can be used for various MOCs, that will help a lot. Now, that I covered those aspects, I feel the need to point out that I feel the Weapon should be called a Condenser, conductors don't store electric energy, but give medium for the current to travel. Also, rift is not the term that suits your description of the weapon, field is a more suitable term, where as rift is a term more associated with something being torn apart. Other than that, take what I said about Explanations, see if you can make a simple Backdrop, and any aspects I mentioned in my Reviews. Hope I managed to help to some degree. |
