After getting reports that the Mk.I Avant was having serious problems with having to replace the entire arm after the lances broke and the thrusters on the feet sometimes being over-powering, Xavier took his design and made the alterations and fixes needed to add stability, and still be able to use the scrap parts from the now "disfunctional" Avant, and his original Ryuusei's.
His new mass production AEGAKS, the Cevant, is a compound biped that uses the jump jets on it's heels for both evasive and attack fighting styles. The "shockers" on each arm carry an electric charge that it concentrates in the particle conductors, firing an electric charge conductor in masses of drones, firing a near simultaneous charge, inducing a static charge into the ground as it charges the molecules in the air and causes a magnetic rift that holds the drones in place while other AEGAKS and SPA forces can take out the immobilized drones. The thrusters underneath the frame's mass propels the Cevant into battle. It's legs arc back, letting it fly for quite some distance before needing to land to run and recharge the battery cores to fire the jumpjets and take off again. The small comm antennae attached underneath was cleverly designed to keep the communication between the pilot and the control station protected from direct damage and is dropped and disconnected from the Cevant when the pilot block is ejected to keep the drones from using the comm's tracking array to find and take over the central command station.
Hey Man, as I stated with the "Falling Star", I really feel that your parts usage has come along nicely, this shares the same smooth feel that the "Falling Star" has. While I feel that this is a vast improvement from the previous incarnation, I happen to have with the design are the "Hand" Portion and the Feet. A part of me feels that the Feet happen to be too narrow and could use some blue to help make them look more a part of the MOC. With the "Hand" Portion, from what I read, correct me if I am wrong, are the portion of the "Shockers" that fire the "Conductors"*. I really feel that you could expand on the Weapon, make it appear more as a Launcher, right now that give me a Melee feel. Also, I suggest showing what a Round would look like. Aside from the those aspects, I see no major Issues. Now, I feel what I said about Explaining in my comments about the "Falling Star" could be applied to this MOC as well, and future MOCs as well. Make sure to use Text and Visuals together, not apart. Also, while you made an effort to make the backdrop color neutral, I feel that you could do more. What I suggest is finding three larges Sheets of Cardboard, placing each piece to make a Corner, a floor and two perpendicular walls. Once you have the wall set up, you can use Copy paper, if you're careful, you can make a seamless appearance. With this, you can have a White Backdrop, that uses everyday items and can be used for various MOCs, that will help a lot. Now, that I covered those aspects, I feel the need to point out that I feel the Weapon should be called a Condenser, conductors don't store electric energy, but give medium for the current to travel. Also, rift is not the term that suits your description of the weapon, field is a more suitable term, where as rift is a term more associated with something being torn apart. Other than that, take what I said about Explanations, see if you can make a simple Backdrop, and any aspects I mentioned in my Reviews. Hope I managed to help to some degree.
