This Christmas brought many new LEGO sets and I've been having building alternates. I wasn't sure if I could pull a mech off with the Alien Defender but I wanted to, so here's the result. Obviously not my best work but still a fun little rebuild.

I'm, liking the Alien Conquest sets, because while they may not provide the best parts, I feel like they are the theme most true to LEGO space tradition: two sides, different color schemes, no central characters, a lot more freedom to create your own stories.

Well, there may be more rebuilds up soon, and I'm definitely pumped to end up with more LEGO after Christmas than I have since I was 8.
