City of Lego Heights Fire Department ALS Light Rescue 14
About this creation
Vehicle #2 delivered to the CLHFD before Christmas, newly formed ALS Rescue 14 has been assigned this 2011 Ford F-450 with bodywork by Ferrara. ALS Rescue 14's apparatus was modeled after vehicles in use by both NYPD ESU, PAPD, and others. This vehicle is essentially a mini-pumper, equipped with a 1000gpm pump, a 250g water tank, and a 50g Class A foam cell. Specialty equipment is also carried that allows its crew to respond to EMS calls that would normally require an ALS ambulance. Since the City of Lego Heights Fire Department does not currently provide ambulance services, the ALS Rescue unit was designed to be able to respond to both small fires and medical emergencies. ALS Rescue 14 is one of three ALS Rescue units planned for the CLHFD.
Currently, all CLHFD vehicles are in the process of having decals put on. ALS Rescue 14 is 3rd in line for decals, and pictures will be posted when they're done.
