Concept II (Revisited)
50% modification of my Concept II. Not much else to it. My favourite car in my collection at the moment, and quite possibly my most detailed too.
About this creation
UPDATE: 13th January 2012

Remodelled most of the bodywork:
- Bulbous headlights (Goodbye Gallardo!), which look great in the flesh or, er, ABS I should say.
- Porsche 917 and generic Lamborghini design inspired front intake
- Removed fender intakes, replaced with two huge (And I mean huge! The photos don't give them justice) intakes behind the cabin
- Reworked fender flares (I wanted to keep the light stickers, which meant I only had 2 fender pieces, instead of the 4 which I needed).
- Slight change of black stripe/shape on the bonnet and sides
- And, um, door handles...

Hope you all like the improvements. I certainly do! :D

END OF UPDATE

I kept the Gallardo lights (and Gallardo inspiration for the front end). Not because I couldn't think of another way to make it, I just like the way it looks. Ummm, massive diffuser, tow hooks, vents, pumped fenders, and a more aggressive tire/wheel/camber setup. No fire extinguisher needed though, as this car isn't a Ferrari. ;)

Looaaddsss of overview shots.

Bonnet/trunk(?) is removed to reveal a fuel cell and overly complicated torsion suspension. I was going to make some pretty front suspension, but the bonnet vents denied me that.

Trunk/bonnet(?) is removed to reveal not a V12 or a V10, not even a V8. Rather, my concept now features one of my favourite engines; a 3-rotor 20b. Naturally aspirated and good for roughly 9,000rpm and 400hp. Individual throttle bodies (there should only be 3, not 6, but I couldn't find a better way of doing it other than using binoculars), fuel line and exhaust system replicated as best as I could. Le greebles provide an additional 10hp each. I think that's right.

Other engine angles.

A couple of pointless photos. Er, sorry about that.

I hope you'll agree with me when I say this is an improvement on the original. The first one looked too similar to the Gallardo set (which became apparent when I read your comments), but I think I've made it more different now.

Future plans are for a coupe or hatch version. Please feel free to comment and/or rate :)

Mate this is crazy!!!! I really like the shape and great choice of engine, but when you build another version of this concept, put in an RB26dett from a Nissan R34 GTR, that would be awesome, but the 20b is still a great engine! Anyway awesome looking car and sorry for the late comment, I havn't been on the computer for a while

Neat! I'd change the front, if I were you, so that it wouldn't look like a Gallardo, but still 5/5! ~LB Jr.

Awesome man! I get your "fire extinguisher and Ferrari" joke, but honestly, I prefer a 458 over anything else. It is that good! But anyways, it is cool looking!

Nice concept. It would be good for racing. It is so low to to ground, you'd have to make sure not to run anything over.

That's cool, especially the very detailed interior and the engine. I'd say it still looks like a Lambo, but like a new model :-)) The shaping is really cool. The tail lights and the air outlets on the front are my favourite design elements. Great job! :-)) By the way, it's a real low rider, what a pity that it would be disqualified to do a power lap on Top Gear ;-))

Wow! Definitely better than your first version, such a clean moc. Love the engine, wheel arches and the zonda-ish exhausts. The interior is also quite good, nice colors. :] The only thing that I don't like, are the front lights. Maybe you could use some transparent bricks to replace the stickers? :]

Still looks like a Lambo... But it's cool concept! I like a lot the engine on the last picture. ^_^
