About this creation
With the new release of the Batman Legos, and some major disappointment with the new Batcave I decided to try my hand at my own Moc. In thinking about marketed set designs I decided I would not go for a major sculpture with tons of bricks (I don't have tons of bricks) rather I would try to limit my work to set size brick numbers. In thinking about the cave in animation and art it seemed obvious to me that the Batcomputer should be the focal point. After some thought I decided the Batcomputer could be a stand alone set really so I designed a 200 piece batcomputer. I ordered the bricks from one source on bricklink and threw it together yesterday. Unfortunately my source only had 2 of the 3 panels I need for the lcd screen so I will need to source one later. I have already designed most of the cave structure and other elements that expand the set to around 550 pieces including the batcomputer. The ultimate goal is to make a batcave set with around 1000 pieces. That being said I am totally satisfied with the batcomputer and think it easily stands on its own merit as a $21 Moc.

Thanks Nick, you are right about the greebled look, also the monocolor would be against corporate sensabilities as well

It's got the right look. I feel a set might be a little more greebled but I like the elegant simplicity of this.
