This is my entry in the second round of "The Out of Your Comfort Zone" contest. My theme is Military/Military vehicles.
About this creation
The Iron Roc is a mammoth bomber. It is depicted here with its escort fighters. The Iron Roc has heavy protective plating and a few gun turrets for protection. You don't want to be beneath this beastie when the bomb doors open.
As I said before, this is an entry in round two of the "Out of Your Comfort Zone" Contest. You can see my round one entry Here. When I got this theme, I was not sure I could pull through. I got started in a color scheme and ended up having a blast! I have enjoyed this contest.
So here are my points. Photo: 5/5. Theme:5/5. Build: 8/10. Very nice build! But I would add there some stuff like bombs (itīs bomber!) and maybe two more engines (because of its size). Good luck.
Photography: 5/5.
Theme Representation: 5/5. It is in fact a military vehicle.
Overall Build: 6/10. This has a wonderfull shape and I really like those microscale planes acompaning this but all the studs on this makes it look wierd. Try using SNOT to give things a much smoother look.
Overall Score: 16/20. That hinge plate design you have on the wings is pretty cool. :) Good luck with the rest of the judges.
This is a military vehicle if I've seen one! I love all the angles and the design, and the color scheme and the studs bring out the "Don't mess with me!" feel. Great work!
