The aquarium is a piece I built for a larger moc and since it turned out so nicely I figured I would make a little display for it and post it online

A very nice build; I particularly like the seaweed and tank interior details! Where'd you get the orange fish, by the way?
The orange fish is from 10218 Pet shop modular set from last year. |

Great work, will you post the MOC this is being used in?
Yes, that moc will be posted. I am just waiting on the remaining orders from bricklink in order to finish it. |

I couldn't name anything in particular that's overwhelmingly nice about this, yet the overall impression is far superior to each individual part. Great job! |

Love it you brought me back to my childhood when my father got me a fish tank and my favorite picture of the two of us was sitting on the floor with the fish tank behind us! Wow Lego brings us down memory lane! THANK YOU! |

The plants and the clams are nice touches, but if there was a mermaid in that aquarium, you'd attract more than just the boyscout sort.

I love how simple it is! Where did you get the orange clam?
Honestly that is the single piece I'm not sure about setwise. It is from one of the aquatic sets, and from a 2010-11 set since I did not have it before then. It was sitting in my mini drawer that holds all my aquatic lego creatures so I grabbed it. I don't have any lego lobster/crabs but once I get some from bricklink I'm going to make a lobster/crab tank for a seafood store/bar :D~~~~ |

Simple, clean, nice :-) Good construction of the transparent walls - the single pieces allow you to see through. Where is the orange fish from? I don't remember seeing that before and Peeron's reference doesn't list that piece in orange.
Thanks, the orange fish is from the Pet Shop Town Modular set 10218 |
