6 crewmembers. 2 gunners, 2 engineers, 1 pilot and a navigator.
Minimal crew safety & protection. All crewmembers except the navigator are exposed. One of the gunners has the ability to kill his pilot.
2 compound steam engines, each controlled by an engineer. Depending on the engineers skills, the aircraft will reach 90 to 100 kmh. When one engine is haxt or pwnt, the aircraft will reach about 60 to 80 kmh, which is still over it 55 kmh stall speed. Steam is generated in the boiler directly attached to the engine, however, steam can be obtained from the other engines boiler, in case of a boiler malfunction.
The engineer recieves the pilots commands by means of a engine telegraph. The pilot can remotely completely shut or open the regulator.
2 gun positions. Each is armed with a single Gatling gun. One faces forward, the other faces backwards.
Cockit. The yellow thing next to the pilot is one of the engine telegraphs.
The engineers station. To his left there is the boiler, with the coal bunker ontop it, to his right is the actual engine.
A very well engineered design, yet I am not quite enamored with it. It is slightly boxy, and even a good CAD can certainly prove parameters such as look, price, and some of the architectural engineering. However, if you built it with real Legos, and perhaps did something to disperse the blockyness, I would consider this an extremely good model.
